Blane fell over when Brooke punched him; it didn't knock him out, it just really fucking hurt. The she kept punching with little girl punches that really didn't hurt all the much and she was screaming some shit or another. He was about to retaliate when he heard the loud bang. He looked up to find one of the school fags holding a baseball bat with his dikey friend behind him. Blane wasn't stupid; even with Tad and Brooke beaten up the odds where still against him with four on one. He slowly picked himself up and put his hands in the air.

"No problems here." he said backing away, "I think I'll be going before the fag here tried to rape me with his "little friend"." He turned to Brooke and Tad. "This isn't over." he said darkly before turning and leaving.

((OOC: Guys, I hope you realize how COMPLETELY unrealistic this fight was. I was pretty much laughing out loud by the end of it. I mean, I know we all want to come out on the winning side, and I do credit you for taking the punches and not God-Moding, but... obviously none of you have been punched in the face or (super obviously) kicked in the balls.
Don't change it though, it's super entertaining.))

When Audrey claimed to have brought help, he merely lifted one arm up to offer her a thumb's up sign, before allowing it to drop back down painfully to the floor.

Tad lay on the ground, still crumpled in a ball: bleeding from several places. . .again. He felt himself crying, and wanted to stop. After a few moments he regained conrtol of himself: well he stopped the tears at any rate. He rolled himself onto his back with a groan and made a coughing sound after it. Please, no blood this time, he thought.

He lay there staring at the ceiling, with his arms propped up on his elbows, but off to the sides of his head. He wondered if his nose might have broken in the process. It was deffinitely bleeding. . .so was his eyebrow and the split in his lip from two days ago. His whole body throbbed horribly with each beat of his heart. This sucked in every possible way.

"I hate to be a burden, but would someone mind helping me up so I can go to the Nurse's Office," he said in a strained voice.

((ooc- since I only had my hair pulled and was slightly asphyxiated, I think I'm in okay shape. ^_^ Equally glad this was entertaining.))

Brooke rushed over to Tadhg's side immediately. She couldn't believe what had just happened. She carefully lifted him up, not wanting to injure him any more than he already was. She looked up at Desmond with frightened eyes, and then back down at Tadhg. "Thanks," she said to Desmond, knowing that Blane wouldn't have hesitated to beat the crap out of her as well if he'd had a little more time. She knew this wasn't over, and she didn't care.

"You too," she added to Tadhg.

[Desmond Giuseppe]

Desmond dropped his bat rushed over to help Brooke with Noob. "Hey, why don't you let me handle this ok?" he told her gently, putting Noobs arm over his shoulder. "You've got some fucking balls, man." he told the both of them. "Sorry I wasn't here sooner, I had to go get my little friend to be an enforcer encase Blane didn't back off. Audrey came to get me right after you ran after Brooke."

[Tadhg Kelly]

"Don't mention it," Tad said to Brooke as she came over.

He closed his eyes and groaned as they helped him to his feet. This was fun. . . . he could suddenly feel parts of his body he had never even known he had.

"Thanks," he muttered to both Audrey and Desmonde.

[brooke]

Brooke felt like she could throw up again, but managed to control herself. Well, she would most likely get sent home early, but not for being ill. She was afraid of being suspended, even though everything she'd done had been in self-defense. They couldn't do anything to her for that, could they?

"I'm so sorry, Tadhg..." She'd just met the boy, and now he was getting into trouble because of her. If she had ditched him when he'd first seen here, then Blane would have just gotten her, and not the both of them.

[Tadhg Kelly]

"For what?" Tad asked. "Did you punch me in the face, or ::ern::(sound effect?) nuts?"

As he said it he could feel them both throb painfully. Fucking A. .. .

[audrey]

"Well, the important thing is you're both alive!" said Audrey, "And I'm glad you finally stood up for yourself Brooke!" Audrey went over to Brooke and got a good look at her face. "You look like shit. To the nurse!"

[brooke]

"No, but if I would have ditched you, told you to leave me alone back there, then you wouldn't have been here when Blane found me. He was looking for me... this time, at least." Brooke said, before turning to Audrey.

"Thanks," she said. "It was all because of you guys. I mean, I knew I was being kind of stupid, but I guess it took someone else to point it out... and the fact that he shoved Tadhg like that. Not cool."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"All the same; Blane's not just going to let this go." said Desmond, "You guys should just stay with us for a while, I mean like hanging out and stuff, you know, just keep awat from Blane. . . Um, Aud and I are going to the Liberty Diner after school, do you guys want to come?"

[Tadhg Kelly]

"Love to," Tad said laughing slightly. "That's the last fucking straw, though. . .I'm reporting this fucker."

[audrey]

Audrey let out a small laugh. "Yeah, good luck with that." she said sceptically, "Blane's father is a lawyer, he'll find a way to make this all your fault."

[Tadhg Kelly]

"I don't give a flying fuck," Tad said bitterly, knowing she was probably right. "I don't care if he beats the shit out of me, but who knows who else he's beating besides me. . .and Brooke."

[brooke]

Brooke shook her head. "I'd love to, but I have to work," she said. "Don't worry about me, though. I'll be okay. After all, it's on Liberty Avenue... he'll never go there."

At the mention of reporting Blane, Brooke just shook her head. "I tried once. Last year. His dad got it dismissed from court, completely stricken from the records."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

Desmond raised his hand at Tads "who knows who else he's beating besides me. . .and Brooke." comment.

"Only a few times last year when I came out, though." he said dully, "Luckily for me, my dad is a lawyer as well, and he said he'd get it filed as a hate crime if Blane didn't knock that shit off. And I've been Blane beating free for over a year now."

[brooke]

Brooke smiled a little for the first time that day. "There you go, Tadhg! All you have to do is say you're gay, and we can file it as a hate crime."

[audrey]

"Glad you think it's funny." said Audrey cooly, if she had made the comment it would have been fine because she knew what Desmond had to put up with, but Brooke had no idea what is was like to be gay so it wasn't her area to be making jokes about.

[brooke]

"I didn't mean it like that," Brooke said, slowly starting to make her way towards the nurse's office, going slowly so that Desmond could keep up with Tadhg. "Sorry."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Don't worry about it, Brooke." said Desmond, practially carrying Tad to the nurses office, "Audrey is just a bit over protective and defencive."

[brooke]

Brooke nodded, but still felt suddenly out of place. This wasn't where she belonged... she wasn't used to surrounding herself with people like this. Not that she minded Desmond, Audrey, and Tadhg, but that they were different from her. Or, rather, she was different from them. They all seemed to get along just fine, and she was the odd one out. The 'prep' of the group. She suddenly felt like she didn't deserve to be there.

[Tadhg Kelly]

"Let's all just stop bitching," Tad suggested, glad to know that at least his legs were working fine. Even if they did cause some pain below the belt. "No one meant to offend anyone."

"Oh good, we can pay a visit to my friend Elliott," he said with a soft chuckle that made him grimace.
