"What's stopping you?" Thomas asked. He wouldn't cross Viola.

[Viola Hastings]

"The annoying litle fact that he could probably bench press me without breaking a sweat," she replied, with a helpless sigh.

[Thomas Wells]

"Ah... it happens to the best of us," Thomas replied, shrugging. He was a twig himself, but when it came to defending himself, he didn't care about his own physical condition. The only thing that mattered to him was keeping others safe.

[Viola Hastings]

"Yeah, I guess," she said with a sigh. "If he ever tried to hurt Kyan thoguh, I'd kill him."

Jude was starting to feel slightly uncomfortable; talking about getting beat up isn't really his favorite and he felt like a idiot for bringing it up. Then there was the mention of Randy calling Kyan a fag and Jude's face lost some of it's color just thinking about what Randy would do to him if he found out he was gay.

"Yeah. . . he's a real asshole alright." said Jude distractedly.

[Thomas Wells]

Thomas crossed his arms and looked at Jude concernedly. His face had just lost some color... the same thing had happened to Elliott once, and he'd passed out a couple minutes later after insisting he was fine. Just - bam, and he was flat on the ground. The memory set his heart beating quickly.

"Are... are you okay? Do you feel faint?" he asked, bracing himself to catch the kid if he went down, but not wanting to freak him out.

"Huh?" said Jude, snapping out of it a little bit, "Oh, yeah, I'm fine. . . . I ah, just don't let talking about getting beaten up. . . that's all. . . makes me a bit squeamish. . ."

[Thomas Wells]

"Maybe you should sit down, though... just in case," he said, gesturing to the table where he'd been sitting.

[jude]

"Ah, sure. . . what ever makes you happy. . ." said Jude dully, taking a seat at the table. Fuck, now Thomas was going to think he had some sort of heath problem or something.

[Viola Hastings]

Viola looked at Jude concernedly. She stood to the side of Thomas while he sat down.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. . ." she said awkwardly.

[jude]

"Huh? What? Oh, no no, I'm fine." said Jude trying to get away from the awkward situation for which he was becoming increasingly embarrassed for. "I just get easily squeamish some times; comes with being Jewish."

[Thomas Wells]

"I'm squeamish too," Thomas said absently. He was trying to shake the feeling of dread he had. Jude would be fine. Elliott just withdrew whenever there was something wrong with him - not everyone would deny that they were ill if they were. It was just Elliott.
Thomas let out a quiet sigh.

[jude]

"Ok, I'm fine now." said Jude getting up quickly. He didn't want Viola and Thomas to think he was going to pass out or vomit or something. He still felt slightly woozy but it wasn't keeping him from standing comfortable or anything. "You guys need to chill out."

[Viola Hastings]

"Well you did almost faint just now." Viola said in their defense. Geez what was this kid bipolar?

[Thomas Wells]

"Sorry, I had a bad experience," Thomas replied, sticking his hands in his pockets. "I'm.. uh, I'm gonna go. It was nice to meet you both." He felt the need to leave the library - he was feeling a little flushed, and sort of panicky. The image of Elliott on the floor really got to him. With a smile that was more of a grimace, he nodded at them and exited the room, not stopping until he found a bathroom.

"I--are you okay?" she asked futiley as Thomas left rather abruptly. "Umm okay then."

Jude raise an eyebrow. "Maybe feeling faint is contagious." said Jude as he watch Thomas leave.

"Maybe," Vi said, her voice trailing off. She glanced down at the book in her hands awkwardly. "Well, I guess I'd better go check this out then."
