"He has a. . . .oookay. . .so I guess we'll just stick with the x-men comics because I can't promote the sale of Batman. Never liked him."
He began flipping through the section he had just been looking through: finding an interesting one with Logan in the original yellow and blue spandex, claws extended.
"How about this one?"

Jewls giggled at Tad's awkwardness of a girl saying the word "boner". She guess Debbie was beginning to rub off on her more than she thought. She looked at the comic book Tad handed her. "Hmm," she said, "I think this one is good, I just hope he doesn't have it already. By the way; why don't you like Batman? I mean sure the first four movies weren't all that great and Michael Kiten was a horrible Batman not to mention the sucky Batman George Clooney was. Vale Kilmer wasn't all that bad. . . but Christian Bale is by far the best and the hottest of then all, but I guess that's not a good reason for you to like him so I guess just forget I asked at all." Jewls turned away and blushed at her rant.

"It's a good issue," Tad said about the Wolverine comic. "I umm just don't like Batman. . .and his lack of super powers. His gift is his super wallet . . .which he uses to purchase his gadgets."

"Well," said Jewls slowly, "That's just what makes Batman so great; he's human. He could spend his money on TVs and Porches, but instead he choses to spend it fighting evil. And it's not like with every other super hero who has powers who feel as though the have to fight evil. Batman fights evil because he wants to and he knows it's the right thing, plus he's a bit of a bad ass and I have a little bit of a thing for bad asses. And if you haven't been able to figure it out already; Batman's my favorite super hero. I have quite the stack of comic books at home."

Jewls laughed, "Oh come on!" she said, "After all that you don't even like him just a tiny bit more? Why am I even asking, of course you don't." She went to look through another rack of comics, "Well, who's your favorite super hero then?" she asked over her shoulder.

"Oh, well I don't remember that other stuff, but i defiantly remember the cards. Well, I think I'm just going to buy this one for Jude, I'm sure he'll like it." She went over to Michael at the counter to pay for the comic.
