Once Vinnie had parked in his driveway he got out of his car quickly and went to open the door for Zanna before leading him into his huge home. Vinnie's house was very sizable and lavishly decorated. It was very Roman looking because Vinnie's family was originally from Rome, Italy. In the foyer there was a curved staircase and the floor was made out of marble. The house was fancy, but still had a homely, lived in feel to it. There were pictures of himself and family members everywhere, mostly is immediate family and his late mother. His family came from a lot of money; his father owned a few restaurants and his family in Italy own a couple of vineyards that he benefited from. Not to mention his relative in New York and their questionable income. . .
Vinnie lead Zanna into the kitchen which was just as fancy as the foyer. The fridge was completely covered in pictures of him, his brother, his sister, and his late mother. Vinnie took of his uniform jacket and laid in one one of the chairs at the kitchen table.
"Can, I uh, get you anything?" Vinnie asked nervously.

Zanna was stunned at the house that Vinnie pulled up to. Her own house paled in comparison, though her family was moderately well off considering all of the money that went into her skating lessons as well as her brother's skating training. It was an expensive hobby that they both had taken part in since they were young children, and it had cost her parents a pretty penny. Of course, the fact that they had been forced to keep up with that hobby wasn't really their fault, but...
"Wow. Your house is beautiful," she said as they made their way inside and stopped in the kitchen. "Um... water would be nice," she said, not wanting to be too much of a bother but also finding herself surprisingly thirsty. She busied herself with looking around the room, glancing at the pictures of Vinnie and his family. Cute.

"Oh, um, thank you." said Vinnie with a blush when Zanna complimented his house. Vinnie usually got that a lot when people came over and every time it embarrassedd him. He always felt like people thought he was showing off how big his house was. Vinnie was used to the size, but also enjoyed going to his friends houses.
"Water? Sure." said Vinnie as he went over to the fridge and pulled out a fresh water bottle for her. Just as he was handing her the bottle he heard barking coming from upstairs. Like usual Sirius had been waiting his Vinnie's room for him to come home. Sirius bounded down the stairs and into the kitchen then leaped up on Vinnie. Vinnie knelt down and affectionately scratched Sirius behind the ears.
"Hello baby!" he said in mild baby talk. It was then that Sirius noticed Zanna. He curiously walked over to her and sniffed her hand. Vinnie had taught Sirius not to jump up on people. "This is Sirius." Vinnie told Zanna. "I think he likes you!" Sirius looked up at Zanna with his great big puppy dog eyes as if begging her to pet him.

Zanna took the bottle of water with a quiet "Thanks" before slowly twisting off the lid and taking a sip. It was very cool and refreshing, just what she had needed. She replaced the cap just as she heard the barking, which was closely followed by a large black dog running down the stairs and into the kitchen just to jump on his owner. Zanna smiled at how affectionate Vinnie was being, though not to the point of the high-pitched baby talk that most people dove into the second they were within twenty feet of an animal.
"I hope he likes me," she said, nodding approvingly as Sirius sniffed her hand and looked up at her with his wide eyes. "Don't you look at me like that," she accused the dog before kneeling down on the floor and rubbing the dog behind it's ears with both of her hands (after placing her water bottle on the floor next to her, of course).
"He's so friendly," she said, laughing a little as Sirius licked her face.
ooc- if you don't want him to lick i"ll edit that... I figured most dogs would, though. ^_^

((naw, I was gonna have him do that anyway. The dog that is))
Vinnie was delighted that Zanna like Sirius! "Well, his friendly unless I tell him not to be." said Vinnie, "A few weeks ago he took a nice chuck out of my little sister's asshole boyfriend. I mean, I an protective of my sister, but it the guy was actually decent I wouldn't have had Sirius do that, " Vinnie explained, not wanting Zanna to think he was this crazy over protective brother. Well, he was at times, but he had to! He just want to make sure his little sister was being taken care of! "The guy was known for abusing his girlfriends and I just didn't want my sister to be involve with anyone like that, you know? Plus he was a senior and my sister is a sophomore and not even 16 yet."
Realizing that he probably cause an awkward atmosphere, he quickly changed the subject. "I, um, do you mind if I got change real quick?" he asked, "I don't like hanging out in my uniform, it's a bit uncomfortable. You can go ahead and wait for me in the basement if you like. That's where me and my friends always hang out." He added so Zanna didn't think he was being creepy. The thought of a basement in a empty house my freak out a girl, so Vinnie just wanted to assure her. The basement was nice; it was finished, had a big screen TV and surround sound and Vinnie and his siblings had each added their own personal touches. Vinnie put up posters for all his favorite bands like Led Zeppelin, Queen, The Beatles, and Pink Floyd and his guitars. His sister Lena had her drum set down there and her DDR. And his brother Tony, even though he not longer lived there, still had his life size cut out of half the cast of the original three Star Wars down there.
"The door is on the left just out side the kitchen." Vinnie told Zanna, "Oh, and, please don't touch my sister's drum set, she's very picky about it and she can tell if someones been playing with it!" The Vinnie quickly ran up stair to change, Sirius running after him.

Zanna listened to the story about Vinnie's sister's former boyfriend. That sounded like way too much drama for her, but who was she to judge. Some people just ended up in bad relationships. A lot of the time they didn't mean to, people can be really tricky when it comes to hiding their real personalities until a person is already involved. "Sirius could probably sense he was a bad person, too. Dogs can do that a lot of the time," she said, deciding not to comment on the age gap. Things like that had never bothered her much, so long as things didn't get too involved in the relationship.
"Take your time," she said in reply to his request to go change. "I can't imagine being stuck in a uniform all day." Listening to him give her directions to the basement, she followed them and found the door he was talking about. She opened it and made her way carefully down the steps, taking in the heavily musical atmosphere about her. She knew some basic piano, but that was the extend of her musical talents. Obviously learning an instrument would have been nearly impossible on top of her skating and schoolwork.
She wandered around, glancing at the posters on the wall and admiring the instruments from afar while she waited for Vinnie to make his way down as well.

Vinnie quickly removed is school uniform and scrambled around his room in his boxers trying to find some clean clothes. Like a normal teenage boy, Vinnie's room was less than perfect; most of his clothes, dirty or clean, were on the floor. He picked up shirt after shirt and sniffed it to see if it was clean. He was becoming frantic, he really wanted to impress Zanna for some reason and he needed to find just the right out fit to do so. Finally he found one of his vintage Led Zeppelin t-shirts in good shape and a pair of jeans. It was casual and reflected is personality well. He quickly went back down stairs and down to the basement.
Vinnie found Zanna admiring some of the posters in the basement. Vinnie smiled to himself; the posters had been his personal touch to the basement. Soo. . . now what? So far Vinnie felt like he was doing a good job. . .
"Hey, um, do you wanna watch TV or a movie or something?" Vinnie asked. "There's a bunch of DVDs next to the TV, you can pick one out if you like." Vinnie hoped to God that Zanna didn't pick on of his sister's movies. He had successfully evaded watching The Notebook and wanted to keep it that way.
((don't you dare))

Zanna walked over to the rack of DVDs, deciding that the movie she ended up picking out could make or break the rest of the night. On one hand, she wanted to pick something she'd enjoy, but she wanted to make sure that she picked out something Vinnie would want to watch as well. It was obvious from a quick glance at the titles that half of these movies probably weren't Vinnie's.
"How about Star Wars?" she asked, holding it up out of the group. The original star wars. He had been talking about it earlier, so it only seemed fitting. "I mean, unless you've seen it so many times that you're tired of it," she added quickly, realizing that this could be the only pitfall in her choice. "Then we could watch something else."

Thank Sweet baby Jesus! Zanna didn't pick one of his sister's cheesy movies! Vinnie could get used to a girl who didn't like those miserable romantic comedies his sister loved. If they had watched any type of chick flick that would have put pressure on Vinnie like the couples that were making out at Home Coming. Vinnie hated having to feel like he had to compete while with a girl and he didn't want Zanna to get impatient with him. . .
"Oh yeah, good idea!" said Vinnie. He went over to the DVDs and grabbed Star Wars. Just as he went to pop out A New Hope it fell out of its case and rolled underneath the coffee table. "shit." Vinnie muttered under his breath. He hoped Zanna hadn't heard him; he didn't want her to think he was a foul mouth. Vinnie bent down under the table to get the DVD. Unfortunately he went to lift his head up to early and smack it on the table. Vinnie rolled out from under the table, clutching the top of his head. He sat up and moan quietly in pain. His eyes were water so bad it could have been confused with crying. Great, he had to go and do that in front of Zanna. Now she was going to think he was either clumsy or a pussy. FUCK!! Why couldn't things just go right for once?!

Zanna was proud of herself for picking out a good movie. She couldn't help but feel a little anxious, not really knowing what to expect out of this night. Was Vinnie interested in her as a possible girlfriend? Or just as a friend? Despite her girly tendencies, she often found herself as 'one of the guys', which usually made her easily overlooked when it came to relationships.
Vinnie dropped the DVD, however, and before she had time to utter a warning about the table as she saw him lift his head... well, it wasn't a pretty scene. Wincing at the sound of his head meeting the table, Zanna found herself rushing over to Vinnie's side, dropping down onto one knee next to him.
"Are you alright?" she asked, though by the watering eyes she could tell that he had hurt himself pretty badly. She looked at where Vinnie had been clutching at the top of his head, gently moving away the hair from the spot where he'd injured himself and spotting the red lump that had already begun to form.
"If it's okay with you, I'm going to go upstairs and get you some ice," she said, just in case he didn't want her wandering around his kitchen alone. She wasn't very close to him yet, so she would understand if he didn't trust a partial-stranger alone in his house. "Okay?"

Vinnie blushed when Zanna came rushing over to his aid. He was embarrassed, but at the same time was please with how eager she was to help him. "Yeah, I'm ok." Vinnie said, trying to keep the pain out of his voice so he wouldn't worry Zanna, "It's just a bump. . . I should be fine." Vinnie felt a shiver run down his back when Zanna touched his hair. He was not used to girls touching his hair. He was, however, used to over hearing girls saying that they want to touch his hair, but it never actually happened, except for maybe his sister and Audrey. It was a pleasant feeling though, as unexpected as it was.
Maybe she liked him more than a friend, who knew? It was too soon to tell. Vinnie was defiantly starting to like Zanna more since she said she liked Star Wars back when they were out side of St. James, not to mention then both sharing the same favorite Harry Potter character. Too bad Vinnie hadn't felt like he proved himself too much to her; he start off by just talking to a big group of girls when Zanna first walked over, which couldn't have made the best impression. Then he invited her home to an empty house which must have been creepy. Now he was cowering in pain in his basement after being a clumsy prick. Vinnie just had to hope Zanna wouldn't be put off by all this. He needed to have confident and he was trying despite all the set backs.
Zanna asked if she could go up to the kitchen to get some ice. Like Vinnie was going to say no! "No, that's fine! Go ahead!" said Vinnie earnestly. If she hadn't offered he wouldn't have asked even though he knew he needed it.

What was she doing, touching his hair like that? This was so unlike her! She rarely did anything like that and was surprised at how at ease she felt around Vinnie. Perhaps the less she knew someone the more she felt like she could just be herself. Be a little bolder than herself, even. She was glad that Vinnie accepted her offer for ice, either way.
Zanna nodded, standing up and making her way back up the stairs that led from the basement up to the first floor. Glad for an excuse to leave, Zanna hid her blush until she was out of eyesight. She turned into the kitchen, making sure to remember which door she came from, and went to the fridge where Vinnie had gotten her water from. Opening the freezer and finding the tray of ice cubes was the easy part. It was only then that she realized that she had no idea where Vinnie's family kept plastic baggies!
She tried several drawers before trying the closet, which was where she found them. Placing some ice cubes into a plastic baggie and zip-locking it shut, she put the tray back into the freezer and made her way back to the basement.
"Here," she said, handing him the bag of ice with a sheepish smile on her face.

While Zanna was upstairs getting him ice, Vinnie took that time to get out some of his frustration. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!" he muttered to himself as he rolled around on the floor in pain. God his head fucking hurt! The pain because less intense as he waited for Zanna, though. It took her some time to get back; Vinnie supposed she was having a hard time finding something. It was hard enough to find things in your own home when you were frantic, let alone someone else's you've never been to. Now Vinnie felt bad for allowing her to get him ice, it seemed like such an inconvenience for her. Luckily, by the time Zanna got back, Vinnie had pick himself up and was sitting on the couch trying to look like he felt better.
"Thank you." he said as he accepted the ice from Zanna. She really was a sweet girl. He'd like to hear Lena say something bad about her after hearing this story. "I'm really, very sorry about this." Vinnie said earnestly as he put the ice on his head. It was extremely cold, but it sure felt damn good on his bump. "I'll put the movie in then."
He got up and pick up the DVD off the floor where he left it. Bending over really didn't feel spectacular, but Vinnie did it damn it; Zanna had gotten some ice for him so the least he could do was put in the movie himself. He popped the disk in the DVD player then grabbed the remote before sitting back down on the couch. He leaned back and made sure the ice stayed on his head as he waited for Zanna to make herself comfortable before starting the movie.

"You're welcome!" she said, unable to hide the undertone of worry from her voice. She was a naturally sensitive person, and so seeing others in pain usually caused her a decent amount of discomfort. And she couldn't help but feel like he was going through all the trouble of being a good host just to make a good impression on her. Of course, she only thought this because she realized what a good impression she was trying to make by being a decent guest. Strange how things like that worked.
"Don't apologize! I'm pretty sure you didn't mean to hit your head," she assured him with a smile. Once he put the DVD in and sat down, Zanna took a seat on the couch as well. They weren't so close that they were touching, but she wasn't sitting at the completely opposite end either. It was a happy medium that she felt fit the situation well.
((ooc- and then they watched the movie? ^_^))

Zanna didn't sit on an different couch or one the completely opposite side of the couch so Vinnie saw this as a good sign. To Vinnie this said "I'm comfortable with you, but still unsure of how a feel." Which really wasn't all that bad. The worst she could have done was decided he was a pussy and left. . . or maybe she was staying because she pitied him after the smack on the head. Well, if she felt that she probably would have sat elsewhere. At least that's how Vinnie felt about it.
Vinnie always got a little pumped when he heard the opening theme song for Star Wars. He couldn't help but smile. It made him wish that he too could wield a light saber and use the force. For right now he'll just have to settle for a plastic light saber and no force powers. Thank God he kept his light saber tucked away in his room where Zanna couldn't see it; he didn't want her to think he was a geek.
They were at the part where Princess Leia was speaking to R2 D2. "I always wondered how they go her hair to stay like that." he said thoughtfully. He had a bad habit of voicing his inner thoughts while watching a movie. "Sorry." he mumble after realizing what he'd done.

Zanna looked over at Vinnie as he mentioned Princess Leia's hair. She didn't mind people talking during movies... especially if it was one she had already seen. It wasn't like she didn't know exactly what was going to happen during any amount of time they might have spent talking.
"Lots, and lots, and lots of bobby pins and hair spray," she stated. "I went as Princess Leia for halloween two years ago. I spent more time on my hair for that costume than I have for any of my skating shows," she said, laughing.
Just then, Zanna heard her phone go off in her pocket. "Sorry!" she said, pulling it out and opening it up. Her face fell as she read the name on the ID. "It's my mom... I should probably take this," she added with an apologetic half-smile as she quickly made her way to the back of the basement so that she wasn't talking over the television.
"Hey, I... mom, I called and told you... you thought I was kidding? No, I said I didn't need to practice tonight... Mom, I'm tired of practicing every night! I just wanted one day off... yes, I know these are counted for qualifying... YES, MOTHER, I understand..." There was a long silence on Zanna's part as she listened to her mom yell at her for making a selfish, immature decision. "I'm watching a movie with a friend... no, you don't know him... no, you will NOT come and pick me up!" She knew that her voice was starting to rise now and had to calm herself. Her voice shook slightly in anger at how her mother was trying to order her around and treat her like a child. She was 18, for crying out loud! "I'll be home later, I'll see you then."
With that, she clicked her phone shut and just stood there for a moment, letting everything that had just taken place sink in. Shit! She was in so much trouble, but her mother had no right to say those things. Like she was sabotaging her skating career! She was being overworked, and a night off was exactly what she needed, why couldn't her mother understand that?
There was a defeated look in Zanna's eyes as she turned her phone off to avoid any more calls and made her way back over to the sofa. "Sorry about that..." she said with a sigh. It was clear that the conversation had bothered her.

Vinnie waited patiently while Zanna was on the phone with her mother. They were obviously having a heated discussion about Vanna missing her practice. Vinnie hated hearing someone get yelled out whether it was on the phone or in school. He couldn't help but cringe with guilt; he was the one who had talked her into skipping her practice that night. It was his fault she was getting yelled at by her mother. Vinnie had the urge to go over, rip the phone out of Zanna's hand and tell her mother to calm the fuck down! That wasn't something Vinnie would do though. Personally Vinnie thought having the evening off was good for Zanna, he couldn't see how a mother wouldn't understand that.
When Vinnie heard Zanna's phone click shut then she didn't immediately return to the couch he knew something was wrong. she was obviously taking a moment to regain her composure before returning. When she sat back down on the couch Vinnie could tell that she was obviously upset. Vinnie thought for a moment about what he should do. When he felt like Viola need comfort at Home Coming he completely fucked it up with his short awkward hug. He didn't want that to happened again. He couldn't just do nothing seeing as he felt some what responsible for what had happened.
"Hey, it's ok." said Vinnie, putting an arm around Zanna' shoulders and sliding over so she was right next to her. "I think you were right in taking the evening off. You deserve it; you work so hard." He rubbed Zanna's opposite are with his hand. "Are you ok?"

Zanna had waited those few extra moments back in the corner of the room so that she could calm herself down and hopefully sit back down on the couch like nothing had happened. She knew that she had started to raise her voice once or twice in anger but thought that she'd managed to control herself and keep quiet.
The movie was still on and running, so she hoped against reason that they could both just pretend that phone call hadn't happened and continue on with the film. She knew that this wasn't going to happen as it was Vinnie's turn to play the concerned friend. He slid over to her, placing an arm around her shoulders.
Zanna felt her entire upper body tighten a little at the touch as it hadn't been expected at all. She immediately loosened up, though, allowing his arm to rest comfortingly around her. She was turned to face him now that he was speaking to her.
"I think you were right in taking the evening off. You deserve it; you work so hard."
He seemed to mean every word of it, and Zanna wondered how he could possibly know these things about her. He barely knew her, yet he had trusted every word she had told him about her practicing schedule and work ethic. He'd only seen her skate once, and yet he seemed to have so much more faith in her as a person than her own mother. Just the sheer meaning of that realization was enough to turn a contemplative frown into a reluctant half-smile.
"Thanks," she said, looking down at her hands. Her voice was quiet as she made sure not to allow herself to get all emotional. He was just being nice to her because she had been nice to him earlier... that was all, right?
"Are you ok?"
If it wasn't the tone of his voice that made her look up into his face, it was definitely his hand on her arm. Something that seemed like it should be innocent, just a gesture of concern, yet she couldn't help but feel a 'moment' happening. They were alone, in his basement, and she knew that had she been thinking clearly she wouldn't have allowed herself to be so vulnerable.
But she wasn't thinking clearly. She was caught up in the moment, and found herself leaning in for a kiss. This was so unlike her, to make a move on a guy like that, but it just felt right to her at that moment. Like everything had been leading up to this without her even realizing it. It just fit. All she could do at that point was hope that Vinnie felt the same way.

There eyes met, and before Vinnie knew what he was doing he leaned in and closed the gap between them by kissing Zanna. It was very unlike Vinnie to be so bold. He had no idea how the to of them simply running into each other ended up with them kissing in Vinnie's basement. Especially after he had just went through telling Sebastian all his girl problems. His mood sure had changed in the last hour. Vinnie was so caught up in the moment than he completely forgot about the throbbing pain in the back of his head. He zoned everything out; he didn't even remember what movie they were watching. Star Wars? What was Star Wars? And further more who cared? He was kissing a girl for the first time and that seem like a hell of a lot more of a big deal than a silly old movie! He brought up his head ad rested it on the side of Zanna's face, following instinct rather than logic at this point. As he leaned in more he felt the ice pack he'd been balancing on his head slipped off, hit his shoulder then hit the ground.
The sound was enough to snap Vinnie out of it. He quickly pulled away from Zanna, his face bright red with embarrassment. "I'm sorry!" he exclaimed. He wanted to pick up the ice off the floor but found himself unable to move. "I-I-I just, I'm sorry!"

Zanna was suddenly very glad that she had decided to skip out on practice. She also couldn't help but realize how ironic it was that her mother's need for control over her (i.e. the phone call) had led to something that she wouldn't approve of at all (i.e. kissing a boy she had met all of twice now). She wasn't about to analyze the situation, though, and was enjoying the moment while it lasted. Which wasn't terribly wrong, as her luck seemed to be going.
Just as Vinnie brought his hand up to the side of her face and leaned into the kiss, his makeshift ice pack fell off of it's resting place on his head and onto the floor. This seemed to be enough to jolt Vinnie back to the reality of the situation, causing him to practically leap backwards on the sofa, apologizing, stuttering, and apologizing again.
"Sorry for what?" she asked, the smallest, most bashful of smiles gracing her soft facial features. Her own cheeks were tinged with a pink blush, but her eyes were sparkling with the excitement of doing something so spontaneous. It had been pretty exhilarating. She wanted to make sure that he knew she hadn't minded the kiss.
"Unless you didn't..." she started, but trailed off. If he thought the kiss was a mistake, though; if he was regretting his actions, then that was a different story all together. She thought their moment had been sweet, but perhaps he really didn't like her that way. Or maybe he had a girlfriend, or liked someone else that she didn't know about. It was completely possible that he was just looking for a friend and had forgotten himself for a moment.

"Oh, no it's nothing like that!" said Vinnie, he felt as thought Zanna was going to suggest he didn't like her. "I do- I mean, I wanted to, I just didn't know if you wanted to and I didn't want to be rude because I really do have a lot of respect for you and I really do like you and I just didn't want you to think I was moving too fast! It's just that, " Vinnie's face turned bright scarlet, "That was my first kiss and I guess I was just kinda eager . . ." Vinnie had no idea where he was going with his. He was just blurting out every thought as it came to mind.
He stopped rambling and looked at the floor, his face still bright red from revealing that that was his first kiss. It was embarrassing to be a seventeen year old high school senior who never kissed a girl before. He was still a virgin too, obviously, but that wasn't something he was going to share with Zanna unless somehow the subject was brought up.
Vinnie didn't know what to do . . . should he kiss Zanna again or something? Should they make out? Did this mean they were boyfriend- girlfriend? He decided that, instead of doing something too bold, he let Zanna decide what they were going to do next. . .

Zanna hadn't realized it, but she was holding her breath after her last statement, trying to figure out whether or not Vinnie regretted kissing her. She was glad when he responded that he did want to kiss her, he just hadn't been sure if she had wanted it too.
She was a little startled to hear that it had been his first kiss. She figured that everybody had to have a first kiss at some point (hers had been the previous year), but the thought of her being his first kiss made her feel a little special. She hoped that she hadn't ruined his first kiss for him or anything. It was a lot to live up to.
"Well, in response to your original question, yes... I'm ok, now." Zanna smiled reassuringly up at Vinnie so that he knew that she meant it. No matter how upset she had been before, his words had been very reassuring. Also, there was always something comforting about the physical embrace of another person, whether it be a simple touch, a hug, or a kiss.
There was a silence between the two of them, and she was afraid that if it was allowed to go on it would become awkward and ruin everything. Unsure of what else to do, she decided to go in for another kiss. This time she brought her right hand up to rest on Vinnie's arm. It was just a simple kiss - after all, if that had been his first kiss then she didn't want to rush things. Plus, she barely knew him! Maybe this was just a fling... maybe they wouldn't see each other again after this, or maybe he didn't want a relationship. Then she didn't want to get too invested.
((ooc- that was poorly written, but I'm tired and my head hurts. And I have a midterm tomorrow. Bleh!))

((s'all right)) "Well, in response to your original question, yes... I'm ok, now."
"We-well that's good." said Vinnie with a small smile. He still felt awkward after the kiss, but apparently Zanna didn't. She swooped back in for another one. Since Zanna made the first move, so Vinnie felt fine running with it. He pushed the kiss little further. . . as in getting tongues involved. . . He hoped he wasn't going to far. . .
He couldn't help but try to figure out what 'base' this was. Was it second? He was pretty sure third base was sex and no way in help was he about to pressure Zanna for that. He barely knew the girl! He thought First base was holding hands and they went way beyond that so Vinnie had to be at second base. Not that he thought of it like that. . . He was just thinking if he'd gotten that far with Zanna without wanting to stop then perhaps he had feelings toward her. She did meet a number of the requirements Vinnie had told Sebastian.
Vinnie put his hand on Zanna's waist and leaned forward a bit. He wasn't by any means lying on top of her, he was just a little closer that before, not sitting up awkwardly anymore. Vinnie didn't know how long he should keep going. This was his first make out after all! How long did make outs usually last? A few seconds? A few minutes? Once again, he'd let Zanna decide. . .

Since this had been Vinnie's first kiss, she was very surprised that he was confident enough to throw tongues into the mix. Since he had been the one who do it, though, she decided that it was okay. It wasn't like they were hardcore making out or anything, which would have been awkward since they really didn't know each other very well.
She wasn't sure what to think about the situation. Could she really have feelings for someone she had only met twice? And if she didn't have feelings for him, then what the hell was she doing? She didn't want to come across as a whore or anything... even if it was just making out.
Just a few seconds later Zanna could've sworn that she heard footsteps upstairs. She paused during the kiss, hesitating slightly as she strained to listen. The last thing she wanted was for his father or sister to come home and see them making out in the dark basement! That would send all sorts of wrong messages...

((Blah Blah Blah then Vinnie kept the making out going Blah Blah Blah))
"Thanks Gaylord!" Lena called to Desmond just before shutting his car door and walking up her drive way. She said it in the most affectionate of ways; it was his nickname that only she was allow to call him. Desmond always gave Lena a ride home after drum line. Lena liked Desmond and as annoyed as he acted around her, she knew that he liked her too.
Lena opened the unlock a front door an went inside her house. Since the door was unlocked, she knew Vinnie was home. That and his car was in the drive way. Usually after school, Vinnie was studying or doing homework in the kitchen, but he wasn't there. Strange. Lena went up stairs and dropped her books off in her room before checking in Vinnie's room to see if he was there. he wasn't. Strange. The only other place Vinnie could be was in the basement, so she went on down.
Once in the basement, a horrible sight met her eyes; Vinnie was making out with a girl. No, not a girl. Some random SLUT. Some fucking vixen had seduced her brother! Aw HELL NO! No slutty ass whore was allowed to touch her brother. NO WAY. And how class-less of her, making out in a basement! WHORE! Defiantly not the type for Vinnie. NO. FUCKING. WAY.
Lena crept up behind the two then tapped the girl on the shoulder. "Excuse me," she said with obvious annoyance, "but, WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!"
