Roast Beef and a Baked Potato!

[audrey]

As instructed by her fathers Audrey began to set the table in the dinning room.

"Don't forget to use the good China!" sang a voice from the kitchen.

"Yes, Daddy Rupert." Audrey groaned with annoyance. She went over to the cabinet and got out the good China and placed it on the table.

"Don't forget We're having Mr. Kelly and his son over too!" Called a voice from the second floor.

"Yes Daddy Allan." Fuck, Audrey complete forgot that Noob and his father were coming over too. It was kinda weird that she had just had dinner with him the other day at the Diner and now he was actually coming over to his house for dinner. She groaned as she went back over to the cabinet and got out two more plates. She was about to go watch TV until the guest arrived when her father's face poked out of the kitchen.

"Silver wear!" he sang before he disappeared back into the Kitchen. With another groan Audrey went back over to the Cabinet and got out the box of expensive silver wear and place a knife, a fork, and a spoon at eat place.

Just then the door bell rang. As Audrey went to answer it she silently hoped it was Desmond.

Jon stood at the door with his son Tadhg, adjusting his sleeves as he waited for someone to answer the door. He grinned awkwardly at his son. Meeting new people was always awkward for him at first: it was gettign harder as he got older too. That was why he was so keen on settling in one place for a while. He was tired of moving around for his job and having to start all over again.

Tad wasn't too happy with him right now. He found out he'd been lying about Brandon. He'd said that Brandon had gone to visit his family in hopes that he might actually come back, but the truth was he'd left for good. And Tad thought is was his fault because the fight had been about him.

A girl with pink hair opened the door.

"Hello," he said brightly. "You must be Audrey. I'm Jon Kelly, and I believe you've already met my son, Tadhg."

[audrey]

Oooer Noob's dad was H-O-T hot! And English apparently.

"It's very nice to meet you Mr. Kelly." said Audrey who then turned to Tad. "Ooer, Noobie; you didn't tell me your dad was so hot." she said shamelessly. "Please come in." She step aside to allow the gentlemen to walk in. "Allan is up stairs getting ready yet, he always waits to the last minute, and the misses is in the kitchen. Can I get either of you something to drink? Mr. Kelly, wine? Beer? Tad, soda? Water? Juicey Juice?"

"He's my dad," Tad said shuddering. "I don't generally think of him as hot."

Tad listened as she rattled off the different drink options.

"Oh, ha," he said rolling his eyes and shaking his head. Soda's fine."

[jon]

Jon grinned modestly at Audrey's words.

"I like this girl," he said, nudging Tad. "Red wine if you have it. But I'll drink either, thanks very much."

[audrey]

"Ok then, I'll be right back with your drinks." said Audrey brightly, but as soon as she turned grinned and mouthed "so hot!" to Jesus up above, thanking him for sending this sex pot to her home. "Mr. Kelly and Tad are here." she told her father in the kitchen as she went to get the drinks.

[rupert]

"What?" said Rupert in shock. He had been so busy cooking he tuned out all other activity in the house. "I didn't even hear then come in!" He quickly threw off his sparkled pink ovenmits and skipped into the dinning room to greet their guest. He hopped to a halt in front of Mr. Kelly.

"Well hello there." said Rupert giving the man a good eying up and shaking his hand, "I'm Rupert. It's very nice to meet you. Allan didn't tell me what a hotie you are! My oh, My!" He fanned himself with his hand then noticed Tad, "Oh! This must be Tad! What a doll!" He grabbed Tad's face and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Please come in and sit down!" He motioned toward the couch in the living room, "I'm sure the rest of our guest will arrive shortly! That Maggie is always dolling herself up to impress me!"

Audrey laughed at her father's antics as she came back in the room with Tad and Mr. Kelly's drinks. She handed them there drinks when the door bell rang and she quickly went to answer it.

[jon]

"Hello, " Jon said with a grin. He'd never met anyone quite so. . .well flamboyant. "Nice to meet you, Rupert. I'm Jon."

He flushed when he said he was hot. He'd never been told that often before. Well he was a married man, girl's didn't usally approach men with a wedding band, son, and wife.

"I erm, well, thanks," he said clearing hsi throat slightly.

He took a seat in the living room like Rupert had asked, and waited for Tad to follow his lead.

Tad allowed his cheek to grabbed, but couldn't stop himself from being slightly weirded out. He just hadn't been ready for t, but everyone else seemed to think it was normal, so he tried to act normal.

"Umm yup, that's me," he said awkwardly, but quickly made his voice seem casual. "Thanks for having us over."

He then also took a seat on the couch and began to sip his soda: a diet dr. pepper.

Maggie Giuseppe - Fourth Grade Teacher



Accompanied by his parents, Desmond enter Audrey house.

"Audrey!" exclaimed Maggie, giving Audrey a kiss on the cheek, then spotting Rupert, "Rupert! Darling!" She ran forward and gave him a hug and a kiss on each cheek then spotted the additional guest for the evening. "Hello, I'm Maggie." she said extending a hand for Jon to shake, "Welcome to Pittsburgh! This is my husband Rich."

Rich had given Audrey his greetings then went over to join his wife in greeting the new comers. "I'm Rich." he said with a grin, shaking the man's hand.

Desmond thought he had avoided embarrassment until his mother grabbed him by the collar and pulled him over. "This is our gay son Desmond!" She gave him more of a squeeze than a hug. "They say it's genetic you know and of course with Rich's youngest brother being gay we more than expected one of our four to be gay and here you go!" Maggie grabbed her sons face and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Please kill me now. "Hey." said Desmond with an awkward smile, blushing with embarrassment.

Maggie then spotted Tad. "Oh this must be Tad!" she said turning to the "Des has told us so much about you! How are you feeling, dear?"

Audrey had to go duck into the kitchen she was laughing so hard.

Tad felt a little bad for Desmonde. . .then his parents directed theier questioning towards him.


"I feel great, actually. I haven't gotten injured in three whole days," he said. "This is my gay dad, by the way: Jon."

He didn't say the last part too mockingly. He just figured they might as well get that out in the open since they were on the subject.

[jon]

JOn slapped his head into his hand before going to shake Maggie's hand first and then Rich's: in order that they were offered.

"It's lovely to meet both of you," he said with an awkward smile. "As my son so delicately stated my name is Jon, and I'm the gay dad."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Oh yes oh course!" said Maggie "Desmond told me about that as well!"

Rich sneaked over to Tad. "Don't worry," he leaned over and whispered in his ear, "You're not the only straight guy here." He nodded and gave Tad a pat on the shoulder before turning his attention back to Jon and his wife.

"Is Tad your only child?" asked Maggie curiously taking a seat in an arm chair across from the couch.

As soon as Desmond was free of his mothers clutches he went over to Tad. "Come on." he said jerking his head toward the kitchen.

Tad didn't need to be told twice. He followed Demond t the kitchens.

[allan]

Allan, running late as usual, came racing down the steps. "Sorry!" he said. "Couldn't find my other sock! Ah! Jon, so glad you came!" he went over and shook Jon's hand. "I see you've already met Rich, Maggie, and Desmond."

[jon]

"Yes, he's the only one that I know of," he said with a grin.

Allan came down the stairs to join them.

"Oh, yes they've already introduced themselves," he said.

[Desmond Giuseppe]

Once in the kitchen Desmond turned to Tad. "Yeeeeaaaah," he said slowly, "I'd appreciate it if you never mention this at school to anyone ever, thanks. Oh, and never call me "Des." By the way, your dads hot, but I'm sure you've already been told that by Rupert."

"Desmond is only our youngest." said Maggie, "We have three other children; two girls and a boy."

Rich preferred to let his wife to most of the talking during this type of situation.

[rupert]

"So Jon, I must ask you," said Rupert grabbing Allan by the hand and pulling him next to him, "Have you been to Babylon yet?"

[Tadhg Kelly]

"Mum's the word," Tad said witha smirk. "Eugh why does everyone keep sayign that. . it's creepy."

[jon]

"That's lovely," Jon said seriosuly. He always wished he'd had more children. "I'm sorry, what's Babylon?"

[rupert]

Rupert gasped. "You don't know what Babylon is!?" he exclaimed in shock, "Oh, you must come with Allan and I one night! You will LOVE it! Especially of you single! It's this fabulous dance club over on Liberty Avenue. The men there are to die for. Of course, I've already found a man to die for." he grinned and gave Allan a light smack on the ass. "Hehe."

[jon]

"Oh no, I'm too old for dance clubs anymore," Jon said embarrassedly.

[audrey]

"Because it's ture." said Audrey who still had a broad grin on her face from laughing at Desmond. "So tell me; what do you think of Maggie and Rich? Better yet, what do you think of Allan and Rupert?"
