The night before, after the party, the walk, and the drama involving Kyan and Toby, Ravi's father had picked him up from Kyan's house. After a lecture about how his dad, Rivers, didn't like that "teenage, trouble causing, Kinney wannabe" Rivers took him to the diner for some sobering up before dropping him off at home. Luckily, his mothers were asleep so he was able to sneak up to his bed room without incident.
The next morning, Ravi woke up surprisingly early and couldn't fall back asleep; he was thinking to much about how he felt bad for Kyan and how he kinda felt like an asshole for yelling at Toby. . . again. The Toby scowling didn't bother Ravi nearly as much as how Kyan was doing. Ravi knew that Kyan was good at putting on a brave face, but the boy was still human! He still had to be upset about Toby running off with the blonde kid! Ravi really wanted to make Kyan feel better. . . but how? When ever Ravi was upset, his mother made him food so maybe that would work with Kyan? It was worth a try.
Since Ravi wasn't much of a baker, nor did he fancy messing up the kitchen first thing in the morning, Ravi just grabbed some of the Halloween cookies had mad with his younger siblings the previous day. Since some of the cookies were decorated by toddlers, the faces on some of the ghosts looked like Picasso paintings and half of pumpkins were purple with jacked up jack o' lantern faces, but they still tasted fine! Ravi packed up a few of the cookies and went to the shed to get his bike.
Because of his paralyzing fear of driving, Ravi still had to reply on his bike. Luckily, Kyan didn't live too far away so the ride was relatively easy. As Ravi parked his bike and went up to the front porch, he didn't even think of the possibility that Kyan might still be sleeping or hung over. Ravi prepared himself to greet Kyan with a smile just as he rang the doorbell, cookies in hand.

Toby heard the knocks on the door and drifted into a hazy form of consciousness. The first thing he was aware of was the chill he felt under the blanket he was wearing. It dawned on him that the breeze was because he was naked, then he noted his clothing on the floor... right next to Kyan's. Well, shit. The details of the previous night's events came flooding back to him and he wasn't sure whether how he felt about things. Having sex with Kyan had been what he thought their relationship was destined for, but not now, not after he'd just agreed to be boyfriend and boyfriend with Andy. What did this mean for---
Right, the door. Luckily the curtains were pulled shut, so whoever it was didn't see him walk up to the door wrapped only in a blanket. He looked through the peephole to see whether it was worth waking Kyan up over -- he was still pretty passed out, and not likely to be in the best of moods when he woke up. When he spotted Ravi through the peephole his heart skipped a beat or two.
Doubling back, Toby nudged Kyan on the sofa-bed. "Kyan!" he whispered. "Kyan, wake up! Ravi's at the door... he has... cookies..." Tobias shook his head. He grabbed a handful of his clothing and took another look at Kyan to make sure he was waking up. "I'm going to go upstairs and change, you should probably answer the door."

Kyan lay face down on the pull out bed, the feel of the sheets against he forehead a welcome relief from the dull throbbing he felt resonating throughout his skull. Every beat of his heart pulsed in his head as he drifted into the present. He heard Toby's voice as if through a filter, thankfully the other boy had whispered and not shouted to get his attention. He felt as though his brain would explode all over the living room if he heard any loud noises. Just great, he thought to himself. He didn't get hangovers, he was smarter than that, lesser mortals got hangovers. He grunted into a pillow, attempting his best not to move, upon hearing his name. He would have gone right back to sleep, had it not been for the second part of the comment. Ravi? Cookies? What the hell? Last night was still a blur of booze, lights and sex.
He flopped over onto his back, drawing his hand to the side of his head afterwards. Why now? Why not ten hours from now when his heartbeat wasn't on surround sound inside his skull? He slumped off the side of the bed, getting to his feet slowly and heading towards the door. He was distantly aware of a strangely comfortable cool feeling and glanced downwards just before his hand grasped the doorknob. Damn it. He turned back around and found his boxer briefs on the floor, pulling them on with effort before heading back over to the door.
His fingers wrapped around the door knob and he pulled the door open towards him. Sure enough on the other side there stood Ravi. Where had Toby run off to? he wondered idly. Toby. . . things rushed forward in his mind. He ran a hand down the side of his face, oh great. "Ravi?" he questioned curiously. "What are you doing here?"

Following his ringing of the boor bell, Ravi heard foots steps come up to the door, stop, then footsteps going away from the door. At first Ravi thought that maybe it was Kyan and once he had seen who was at the door, he just went back to sleep or something. Before Ravi had much more time to think about this, the door opened and it was Kyan who was on the other side of the door frame looking a little worse for wear. It took Ravi less then a millisecond to realize what Kyan was wearing, or lack there of.
"I. . . I brought you some cookies," Ravi said a bit quietly, trying not to be too distracted by the fact that Kyan was only in his boxer shorts. "I-I was worried about you after last night, you know, with the whole Toby thing and all s-so I thought I'd bring you some cookies to make you feel better." Ravi held up the Tupperware box of Halloween cookies to show Kyan.
"Is. . . is there, um, someone else here?" Ravi asked tentatively, as he peeked around Kyan to see into the house and caught a glimpse of a messy sofa bed ((I don't know if that can be seen from where Ravi is so just correct me if I'm wrong)). "I thought I heard other footsteps. . ." Ravi had a bad feeling that Kyan had still wondered off to Babylon the night before after Ravi begged him not to and that Kyan may have brought someone back with him.

Despite trying to ignore the feeling in his head, he still managed to hear something of what Ravi was saying. Toby hadn't been lying, or rather he hadn't been imagining things: he really had brought cookies. What time was it anyway? It couldn't be his usual Saturday wake up time of 1 o'clock. His head wouldn't feel like he'd hit a concrete wall if it was. He mentioned Toby, and more of the events of last night came to the foreground of his mind. He blinked, forcing the images back to the corners of his mind. The last thing he needed to do was relive last nights events in front of Ravi. "Oh," he said, taking the container of cookies from him as he held them up. " . . . Thanks."
As Ravi glanced around his house, he arched an eyebrow at him. (( I don't think you can actually see it from there, but it's not a huge deal.)) What was he trying to see? He'd heard footsteps? Was he part dog? His thoughts were racing around in his confusion and hangover state of mind. "Yeah there's someone else here," he said with a shrug of his shoulders. A shrug he almost immediately regretted. "Toby's here. He's not leaving for another couple of hours yet."

Ravi smiled as Kyan took the cookies. "You're welcome!" he said, keeping his voice low as he could tell that Kyan was pretty hung over, "I made them yesterday with my little brother and sisters so don't be alarmed if some of the cookies are a bit misshapen or the color of the icing is weird. . . " Ravi trailed off. Kyan really did look sick; he had to be if he didn't care about being half naked in front of Ravi. ". . . I-if you're really not feeling well I can make you one of my dad's hang over cures. He um, gets them a lot. . . I have plenty of experience with nursing the victims of hang overs."
Ravi completely forgot what he was talking about when Kyan revealed that Toby had been the one who spent the night there. Toby?! But Toby was with that other guy now. . . so why did he spend the night with Kyan?! Did something happen after Ravi left? Did they talk things out? Did they- no, Toby wouldn't do that. . . Ravi's head stared to pound as he tried to sort this out in his head. "Wait . . . so, umm. . . " Ravi said slowly as he rubbed his throbbing forehead "I don't understand. . . I-I thought Toby was with that other guy now a-and stuff. . . . W-well, he doesn't get any cookies! I mean, unless you want to share them . . . they are yours now I guess. . . b-but, um . . . um. . .. Can you please put some clothes on? This is really distracting." Ravi covered his eyes with his hand and gestured toward Kyan's half nakedness.

Kyan ran a hand through his hair, ever so slightly messy from the previous night and a lack of brush after having just woken up. He was torn. Letting Ravi in his house for more than a few minutes was very likely a terrible idea, however, having a hangover and not tending to it was an even more unpleasant notion. He took a step back and held out his arm in the direction of the kitchen. "I'll try anything to make the pounding stop," he said with a grin that turned into a grimace.
He tilted his head in confusion, his brows knitting together. "Don't understand what?" he said. "Toby's parents are taking him back today, he was staying at my place until then, so he spent the night." He shrugged his shoulders carelessly. "He's still seeing Brower." He didn't comment on Toby's not getting any cookies. He doubted the other boy would lose any sleep over it. His own words however came back to him. Toby was still seeing Brower. It was a simple fact. He'd had him now, something he'd been unable to do until last night, and yet it still irked him that he was choosing Brower. This wasn't the way things worked in his world.
He was glad for the distraction Ravi provided him with. He'd never met a more tightly wound virgin in his life, he was pretty certain. He chuckled, regretting it again, and stumbled back to his living room to retrieve his pants from the night before. He plopped himself down on the disheveled sheets from the previous night and pulled on his dark jeans. He wandered back to the kitchen, buttoning them up as he walked. "Better?" he asked, smirking somewhat.

Ravi left Kyan to get dressed as he wandered into the kitchen thinking all the while.
Why would Toby come back here after what he did? Well, he'd have to get his stuff, but did he really spend the night? Wouldn't he have spent the night with that blonde guy with the stupid face? Should I yell at Toby if he comes in here? No, no, probably not. I think that would only make things more problematic. . . Did I just have my first ever rational thought? Yes! Yes I did! Go me! Oh God, now what do I do? Ok, so I'm not going to yell at Toby, but I think I may have to over compensate my rationality with irrationality so Kyan doesn't think there's something wrong with me. . . When he comes in here, I'll give him a hug. Yep. that's what I'm gonna do. . . . I've totally just been standing here staring off into space for the last few minutes- HERE COMES KYAN.
Ravi managed to wipe the stupid look off his face just as Kyan entered the room. "Yay clothes!" he exclaimed awkardly. For a moment, he thought to slip in the hug then, but thought better of it. If he played his cards right, he may witness a moment between Kyan and Toby that Kyan may need a hug afterward and Ravi would be there to give him that hug. Giving Kyan a hug now would be too much; Ravi knew the boy could only be touched in an affectionate manner so many times in a day before he lashed out at the people around him.
"Oh! I'm supposed to make you a hang over cure!" said Ravi as he remembered his main purpose for being in the kitchen. "Ok, um let me see what you have." Ravi opened the refrigerator and began pulling out random food items; a bottle of hotsauce, a carton of milk, eggs, pickles, chocolate syrup, bologna, and Arizona iced tea.
"Do you have a blender?" he asked Kyan.
