Desmond called his mom on the way home from school to warn her that when she got home there was going to be a group of rowdy teenagers there, AKA GSA. Since they had to be sneaky with Prudence Roberts on the anti-gay rampage he decided it was best to have the meeting at his house. That and he was supposed to go home right after school because of his 'accident'. His mother had been kind enough to say she'd stop at the Grocery store on her way home to pick up snacks for the club on her way home from work. There was just one thing he had to take care off before his was ready for GSA to come to his house.
"Josh!" he called as he entered his house and dropped his book bag at the front door. He had to make sure Josh knew about all the teenagers coming over so he could stay away from the group if he wanted to seeing as Audrey was going to be there. Plus a warning was just nice. He didn't want Josh to be shocked if he suddenly walked into the living room and it was full of teenagers.

Ah, yes. Josh's most favorite part of the day - when Desmond came home. Otherwise he was just sitting around and waiting for that time to come. All he had was the TV and Desmond's parents to amuse him... and as nice as they were, they weren't always the most exciting people in the world. Usually, Josh just slept... because lately he had needed a bit more of that. Because of... yeah. But Josh had enough energy, because when e heard the door open, he immediately bolted from his bed, bounded down the stairs, and had Desmonds in his arms only seconds after the younger boy called out his name. He smiled and kissed Desmond, hugging him tightly. "Hey," he said gently. "How was school?" For a moment, Josh was just content to stand there and hold Desmond, but he forced himself to let go and... well, let Desmond get in the front door.

Having Josh there was like having an excited puppy waiting for him to come how. When Josh greeted him it defiantly was one of his favorite parts of the day. It was exactly what he needed after his crappy day of school. It brightened his mood right up. Desmond smiled and kissed and hugged Josh back. God, he loved that man.
"How was school?"
"Not so good actually," Desmond began, "This bible beater bitch, Prudence, is trying to ban GSA from my school." Desmond had already told Josh he was president of GSA, "She decided to start an anti-GSA up roar while I've been absent. Cynthia did the best she could while I was away, but Prudence is a super bitch. We have to be careful about meeting now so the club is coming here today and they'll be here soon, so. . ." He didn't want to tell Josh to get out. He could stay for the meeting if he wanted to, it was perfectly alright with him, but they just couldn't let anyone find out about them, "We need to be careful. Oh, and Audrey is in GSA so watch out. I know she won't out us in front of the club, but if she some how ends up alone with you there could be trouble." Audrey still blamed Josh for Desmond trying to kill himself and when she was pissed she didn't easily forget.

Josh wasn't sure what part of Desmond's reply upset him most - the part where Desmond had to deal with this Prudence girl or the part where Audrey was going to be at the house in a matter of minutes. josh knew that eventually he'd have to face his boyfriend's best friend, but God was he dreading it. He knew that the moment he saw him. Audrey would lay into him without holding back. And after everything that had happened, after he had blamed himself for Desmond's 'accident' for so long, actually hearing it from another human being would be way too difficult. And he was one hundred percent positive that she would try to make him feel as horrible as possible. Josh would agree with her, too, even after all the reassuring he had gotten from Desmond. That was always in his mind, the fact that Desmond could have died because of him. It was always there.
"If you want me to..." Josh said, forcing a small smile on his fface, "... I can go. You know, upstairs. Until the meeting's finished." He didn't want to let on to the fact that he was getting tired of seaking around with Desmond. It was kind of hard, only being able to show him affection when no one else was around. But now, with the circumstances, they had to be more careful than usual.

"Only if you'd be more comfortable upstairs." said Desmond, "You can be down here but, you know we can't . . . yeah." As much as Desmond trusted everyone in GSA he didn't want them to know about him and Josh. Some how, it would get around to the whole school then what if it came back to his parents? That would be disaster. After Desmond incident he didn't think he could handle anymore emotional drama. This stupid Prudence bull shit was something he could totally handle though. Even if this didn't end up the way Desmond wanted losing GSA would be the worse thing that could happen to him. Sure, it would suck, be completely unfair, and piss off a lot of people, but right now his relationship with Josh was number one on his mind even if he no longer let it affect his social life.
"Even if you're upstairs there's always the possibility of Audrey sneaking away to seek you out, but I'll try to keep her occupied as best as I can." Desmond added. He was sure he would be able to keep his eye on Audrey, but she was quite a crafty little bitch and would be able to get passed him if she really wanted to. "Hold on!" said Desmond, suddenly thinking of something, "My mom will he home shortly after the meeting starts, you can just chill with her until Audrey leaves. There's no way Audrey will yell at you in front of her." This was true. As angry as Audrey was at Josh she'd never do anything to upset Desmond, even though she never approved of Josh.

Josh nodded as Desmond explained his options. So he could either stay in his room and wait for Audrey to sniff him out and scream at hom, or he could hang out with Desmond's mother until the harpie was elsewhere. It only took Josh a few seconds to decide to chill with Mrs. Guiseppe. Maybe it would be boring, maybe it would be awkward (for him, at least), but anything was better than listening to Audrey bitch at him. And make him feel like a horrible human being. And confirming his thoughts that all of this was his fault. Now that everything was mostly normal with Desmond he didn't want the burden of blame on his shoulders. No way.
"I think I'll stay with your mom," Josh finally decided aloud. "Try to keep Audrey on a short leash, won't you?" Josh smiled, a bit of an apology in it. Desmond probably wasn't happy that his boyfriend and best friend disliked one another, but... Well, there was nothing he could do about it. Audrey would just never be friendly with the guy who had caused her best friend's suicide attempt... she couldn't even pretend.
Josh leaned forward and kissed Desmond. "Good luck with the meeting," he said, then started heading upstairs.

Nathan had been informed through the grapevine that there was an emergency meeting of the GSA after school. He showed up at the address he'd been given and knocked on the door expectantly. HE wondered idly if he'd be the first to show up. His mum had driven him right over, convinced he'd finally made some new friends. He failed to mention they were all gay or pro-gay.

Dylan pulled up to Desmond's house in his little reddish coloured car. ((It's not bright red more like the colour of a chewed piece of big red)) He walked up to the doorstep and merely nodded at one of the newer members of the GSA. The Irish kid if he wasn't mistaken. He was pretty good-looking, although a little young. Then again, he reminded himself, lately his tastes had wandered toward the younger side.
He smiled as he thought of the Italian junior he'd slowly been growing fond of. Although, Adamo had never technically admitted to being gay. . . He'd even had a "girlfriend" when he'd first met him. But he had a pretty good feeling that the guy was gay.
Of course he shouldn't be thinking about that right now. He was here to help out the GSA because apparently something was wrong. In the past two years he'd been in it, they'd had maybe one emergency meeting.

Desmond barely had time to react to Josh's kiss because there was a knock on the door. He jumped slightly out of shock because he was still in woo over the kiss. He quickly turned around and opened the door. Nathan, the new kid from England, and Dylan the football player with the hideous highlights were on his door step. "Come on in you guys." he said stepping aside to let them in. "The meeting is in the living room." he jerk his head toward the room behind him, "Just go ahead and make your selves comfortable until everyone else shows up."

Nathan, the new kid from Ireland (apparently), and Dylan, the football player with amazing hair and insanely pretty green eyes, made themselves comfortable as Demsond had suggested.
Tad walked up to Desmond's door after having parked his black chevy a house down. He had a feeling that a fair few cars would be showing up, and wanted to leave some room. He brushed his shaggy bangs out of his face before he wrapped his knuckles on the door.
He was a bit later than he anticipated, having stopped by Brooke's locker before leaving for the day. It seemed that not many people had come yet, though so he was all right.

Another knock. Desmond went and answered the door; it was Taddy! "Taddy!" exclaimed Desmond giving the him a hug. Desmond hadn't seen him in over a week since he'd been out. "I'm glad the message got to you! Is Brooke coming?"

"Hey Desmond," Tad said amidst a hug. "Yeah some tall kid told me at lunch, Garrett, I think. I mentioned it to Brooke, but she might have cheerleading practice today, so I doubt she'll come."
Not to mention the fact tha Brooke was actually a member, so he didn't want to make her feel obligated to go to meetings.

"Oh, well." said Desmond with a shrug, stepping aside to let Tad in. Even though he didn't show it he was quite disappointed Brooke wouldn't be showing up; she'd be a great person to have on their side, her being the captain of the cheerleading squad. Then Desmond remembered Garrett wouldn't be joining him either because his father was an asshole. He just really hoped this meeting wasn't a complete bust.

Cynthia showed up at the door, eyeing the sky with a smile on her face. "See those clouds? I hope it thunderstorms!" she said, obviously excited. Cynthia loved the rain more than anything else in the world, especially during storms. It was quite an amazing thing.
"I'm not late, am I?" she asked. "I went home to change... my sock had a hole in the toe and it's been bothering me all day," she complained, glaring down at her feet.

"See those clouds? I hope it thunderstorms!"
". . . . you are even more Emo than I." said Desmond giving Cynthia a funny look before letting her in after Tad.
"I'm not late, am I?" she asked. "I went home to change... my sock had a hole in the toe and it's been bothering me all day,"
Desmond stared at Cynthia for a moment. "Why did you just take your socks off?" said Desmond, "An no, you're not late. In fact you are very much on time and there are only three other people here. Are you sure the word got around to everyone?"

". . . . you are even more Emo than I."
Cynthia laughed at that. "There isn't anything wrong with loving the rain. It's so fresh... crisp. Good times," she said, glancing hopefully back up at the clouds one last time before Desmond closed the door.
"Why did you just take your socks off?"
"Well, I can't wear these shoes without socks, so I had to go home and change socks, and then I spilled water on my shirt, and had to change that... it was a long, complicated ordeal," she said, shrugging.
"Are you sure the word got around to everyone?"
Cynthia nodded. "Yeah... I told everybody I saw, and told them to tell people in the club if they knew anyone. Word should have gotten around to anyone... but it is kind of last-minute, so maybe some people can't make it..." Cynthia rationed.

Vinnie had a feeling he was running late, but he had to drop his little sister off at home before coming to the meeting. There was a number of cars already parked at Desmond house so Vinnie parked a little bit down the street. When he got to the front door he just managed to squeeze in before Desmond shut the door behind Cynthia. "I'm here!" he said triumphantly.

Cynthia was just explaining her sock situation when Vinnie came charging. "Glad you could make it." Desmond told Vinnie who looked somewhat out of breath. He closed the door behind Cynthia and Vinnie. "I think we're just waiting on Audrey now, but I could always fill her in later if she's late so let's go in the living room and start the meet." Sometimes Desmond forgot how small their club was compared to other clubs at their school. He figured since it was short notice there were going to be some people who couldn't make it though. Desmond headed for the living room and waited for everyone to get settled.

Adamo showed up at the front door of the head of the GSA's house. He wasn't a member of the GSA technically, but he'd heard some kids talking about it and he had to admit: he was curious. He wanted to know what kids who had actually come to terms with themselves did when they came together.
He was incredibly nervous and insecure about going inside though. He hadn't come out to anyone officially yet. The rumours about him at school might have been enough, though. He hesitated with his hand raised to knock. He let his knuckles hit the door and quickly changed his mind. He turned around to walk away.

Audrey was late for the meeting, but could really care less; he best friend was the president so he could fill her in on everything she missed. She had to stop at home to change because she hated being out in public in her stupid school uniform. She parted her bright purple 1988 Mustang down the street because people had to go and take all the spots in front of Desmond's house. The walk from her car to the front door was short, but none the less annoying since she was wearing her favorite pair of bright yellow pumps. When she got to the front door there was some retarded kid just standing but then her turned around and walked right into Audrey.
"Excuse you!" she said with annoyance. "Watch where you're going!" She took a few breaths to clam herself down then she recognized the kid from school. "Are you here for the meeting? Because if you are you're clearly going the wrong way."

"I---sorry," Adamo muttered as he turned around only to walk into one of the more intimidating seniors at his school. "I no. . .I just--wrong house. . ."
He murmured that stuff under his breath, not meeting her eyes. Now he just looked dumb. He sighed and turned back around to wait for the door to open with growing dread.

"You're not at the wrong house you're just nervous now stop being such a baby!" said Audrey. She just couldn't understand how people could freak out over the stupidest shit. Then the kid just stood there and waited for someone to open the door. With a a frustrated groan Audrey reached around the kid and opened the door. She never knock when she was at Desmond's house, she always just walked in. "Well go!" she told the kid.

Adamo frowned at Audrey, he really was beginning to not like this girl. He was nervous, yes, and her calling him a baby wasn't helping matters much. She reached around him and opened the door advising him to just go in.
He did, but glanced awkwardly around. He felt his face grow hot as he noticed all the boys present. There were only two girls there anyway, so it wasn't like he could do anything but notice. He also spotted Dylan and cast his eyes towards the floor. He muttered something incoherent under his breath that resembled 'just curious' before taking a seat on the floor with his legs crossed indian style beneath him.

Audrey followed the kid in and took a seat on Desmond favorite chair only to have Desmond give her an extremely annoyed look. He wouldn't do anything about, there were so many things Audrey got away with with Desmond that other people couldn't. She sighed boredly and waited for the meeting to start.

Desmond didn't hear a door knock so went so scared looking kid just walked in he was a little shocked until he saw Audrey follow right behind the kid. She never knocked, she just always walked in so she probably let the kid in. Desmond didn't recognize the kid from GSA, but he was sure he'd seen him in the hallways at school. The poor kid looked terrified; Desmond figured running into Audrey first thing didn't help.
"Hey, I'm Desmond." he said to the kid while everyone was still getting settled, "What's your name?"
