GSA meeting!

[Desmond Giuseppe]

Desmond was sitting in the class room of his favorite and coolest teacher in the school, Mrs. Google, who had agreed to be the GSA adviser for the year. It was hard to find a teacher who was willing to do that; most found the club to be to controversial, but Mrs. Google was really cool about it. Desmond was really happy to be president this year, but all the other offices hadn't been filled yet so the first order of business would be electing vice president, whom Desmond hoped would be Audrey, Secretary, and treasurer.
All there was to do right now was to wait for everyone to show up.

[nathan]

Nathan walked into the designated GSA classroom and slumped into one of the seats. He was here for two reasons. The first was to piss off his parents. They didn't like the fact that he was gay. His father was openly against it and though his mother pretended to haev been all right with it, she often tried to convince him to walk the staright and narrow path.

The second was in hopes of meeting some hot american gay boys. Though his tastes ran older generally, he wouldn't mind meeting a few boys his own age. Oh and he cared about the gay community too, he supposed.

[Tadhg Kelly]

Tadhg walked into the room and glanced around: just Desmond and some dirty blonde-haired kid he didn't know. He wanted to join this club so he could show his dad that he was being supportive.

"Hey," he said to Desmond, plopping his messenger bag on the floor and sitting on one of the chairs backwards.

[Desmond Giuseppe]

A blond boy Desmond had never met before walked in. Desmond figured the kid was either a Freshman or new. Probably new because he did look a bit old to be a freshman. "Hello, I'm Desmond." he said, "You must be new here. What's your name?"

Then Tad walked in. "Taddy!" said Desmond in the typical male greeting fashion. "Sorry," he said turning back to the blond kid, "He's a friend of mine."

[nathan]

"I'm Nathan, an' I just moved here a week ago," he explained to the guy who seemed to eb in charge. "It's fine."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Oh, well Welcome to St. James!" said Desmond brightly before switch to a more casual tone. "I'd like to tell you that this is a really welcoming and friendly place, but then I'd be lying to you. Don't get me wrong though; there's plenty of nice people here, but their some times over shadowed by the assholes. Over all it's not that bad, but it could be a lot better. I'm surprise the let us start up GSA, I thought that idea would be stamped out immediately, but I guess I'm to cynical when it comes to the school board. So, how are you liking thing so far?"

[vinnie]

Vinnie walked into GSA and found that besides Desmond there were only two other people there and both of them were new kids. He figured he just must be early. Desmond was already talking to the blond kid so Vinnie, being the social butterfly that he was, went over to talk to the other kid. He's seen Audrey and Desmond hanging out with the kid before, but he'd never actually gotten the chance to talk to him himself.

"Hey." he said taking a seat next to him, "So, I guessing this is your first time here?"

Gogo came to GSA more out of and not having anything better to do and boredom than any else. Yeah she though gays deserved the same rights as heterosexuals and blah blah blah. She took a seat near the back corner and waited for the meeting to start.

[nathan]

"It's been okay, so far," Nathan sai dindifferently. "This place reminds me a lot of my old school."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Oh, well that's good then." said Desmond, "Was your old school a private school as well then?"

[Tadhg Kelly]

"Yep," Tad said. "I just moved here about two weeks ago and I thought I'd join. My dad's gay so I thought I'd get involved."

[vinnie]

"That's cool." said Vinnie, "My dad isn't gay but my friend is." he jerked his head toward Desmond. "I see you've made friends with him already. . . and Audrey, I think you've already seen what she's like so I don't really have to tell you." Vinnie smiled a little to show that he didn't mean it negatively, "I think it's great you haven't been here very long and you already have lots of friends."

[nathan]

"Yes," Nathan replied. "So I'm already used ta having ta wear the uniforms."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"I'll hate these fucking uniforms." he said looking down at his own with disgust. "It restrains the individual expression through fashion and I fucking hate that. I want to get into fashion design you see." he added.

[Tadhg Kelly]

"Well, thanks," Tad said grinning. "I do what I can."

[vinnie]

"Cool." said Vinnie.

[nathan]

"Fashion design?" Nathan asked. "Cool. I don't know what I want ta get into yet."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Well, unless you're a Senior you still have plenty of time to decide, but I wouldn't recomend waiting until the last minute." said Desmond, "I've known what I want to do for years now."

[nathan]

"I'm only a junior," Nathan admitted. "But I've thought about getting into writing."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Ooo writing." said Desmond, "I'm not much of a writer myself. I always start writing something then get bored with it after about only ten minutes. Not much of a reader either. Except for Harry Potter; I've read those books about twenty times each!"

[nathan]

"I don't read all that much meself," Nathan said. "I mean a few books here and there outside of schoolwork, but nothin' serious. I just kind of like writin' things. It's fun."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Well, my props to you for doing something I myself suck at." he said with a smile, giving Nathan a little bow. He looked around the room; there weren't too many people there yet. He hoped more people would show up so he could get the meeting started.

[nathan]

"Well thanks," Nathan said, sliding back comfortably in his seat.

He wondered if this was going to be the extent of the students that showed up. He wouldn't be surprised if it was: this was kind of what it was like back in England. What had he thought. . .it would be an endless stream of young, attractive gay boys waiting for him to cap off with them? If only. . .
