Garrett was aware of her hand on his knee, perhaps moerso than he should be given the circumstances. He was glad that there was someone else there having to play a part besides him. When she spoke, he nodded his head and pat her hand to reassure her .
"Yeah, you're probably right," he consented, not wanting to seem overly eager and arouse suspicions. People didn't just turn into believers.

Prudence smiled menacingly; perhaps Speelers was really finding his way into the light and if not Prudence still had a number of tricks up her sleeve.
"Oh, that's wonderful! The both of you can sort of, spy on Desmond for us, and keep an eye on that Cynthia girl too; I have a feeling Giuseppe would be nothing without her. I'm almost positive he wouldn't try planning anything without consulting her first." Prudence remembered how Cynthia took the well being of GSA in her hands while Desmond was away. It gave her the impression that, as much as she hated to admit it, the club did have very devoted officers. All the better to take them out in one way or another. "Make sure she doesn't make it to any club meetings; even the ones that Desmond may organize in secret. I'm sure since you're going to be 'friends' with him again that he would fill you in on that sort or stuff. Make sure you tell me what ever Desmond might tell you as soon as you can!"
"I mean, hypothetically speaking," said Prudence choosing her words carefully, "If you were really still friends with Giuseppe and are just here to spy, I'm sure after hearing what I've had to say would change your mind. Weren't you concerned when you heard of Desmond's attempted suicide? Do you even know his reasonings behind it? Obviously Desmond is a very disturbed boy and needs help. I'm sure even people like that Audrey girl and Cynthia would be willing to admit that." She was trying to play this from two sides now; 1, if Garret was really on their side or 2, if Garret was spying for Giuseppe. Either way she had to make sure she was able to convince him to her side. "I'm sure we'd all like to see our friends happy and want to help them when they're troubled."

Garrett swallowed hard. Now was a crucial time. She didn't seem to fully believe him and he needed her to. Although he had no idea how he was going to pull off continuously being a spy for both sides. He barely had time to work do his school work, and avoid pissing his dad off too terribly much.
"No, he didn't say why he did it," Garrett said. "That's mostly why I'm here. Anyone who tries to commit suicide and can't even give a legitimate reason is obviiously troubled."
Of course, he knew that Desmond was having trouble in his personal life and couldn't really blame him. He'd thought about suicide planty of times, but he was too afraid of death to go through with it. INstead he put up with his crappy life with the hope that inless than a year, he'd be free of all this.

Prudence actually believed Garrett when he said he didn't know why Desmond had tried to kill himself. The rest was a bit fuzzy, but Prudence was going to need a man on the inside to take down GSA and so far Garrett was the closest she was going to get to that. Of course she would be keeping her eye on Garrett, perhaps even sending Justice to keep an eye on him.
"See? Don't you feel better knowing there's a way to help such a troubled soul like Desmond's?" she said to Garrett gently, before address the rest of the room, "There, now that's settled. Unless anyone else has anything to say I think I can safely this meeting is concluded! I will keep you all posted about our next meeting!"

(ooc- pretend she said this first bit before the meeting was over, because i forgot about this thread. lol)
Faye nodded as Prudence gave her and Garrett the task of spying on Desmond and his closest friends. "I worked with Cynthia on a lot of school stuff, so I can get some info out of her, maybe," she offered. The two of them weren't close friends, but it was the best she could do.
"As for Desmond... Garrett's right. He's been really quiet lately, and isolating himself from everyone else. It's scary." Faye actually seemed rather upset as she said those words because it was true. Desmond had been a little secluded lately, and she really was worrying about him. Him as a person, however, was different than his eternal soul.
When the meeting was over she gave Garrett's hand a comforting squeeze, knowing how hard this would be for him.

Garrett gave an awkward smile when Faye squeezed his hand. He was relieved that he wouldn't be doing this alone at least. When Prudence said tha tthe meeting was basically over, Garrett got to his feet and stretched out his tall frame.
He certainly had a lot to think about now, but he was more interested in getting somewhere he could talk to Faye about all of this.
"All right, well keep in touch about the next meeting," he told Prude before heading towards the door.

Justice listened to everyhting that was said with a skeptical mind frame. She wanted to believe Garrett and faye she really did, but somethign was nagging at her about them. For now, she'd put it aside, saving everyone's immortal soul was more important at this point.
She walked over to Prudence and beamed at her. She noticed that one of the oocupants still had yet to make his way for the exit, but didn't really care. ((When I say this I assume Garrett and Faye havel eft, Lessie))
"I'll be sure and keep a close eye on him," she said. "Just to be on the safe side, and in case he needs any help making sure the others can see the light."
She wouldn't mind keeping an extra close watch on him, he was kind of cute. And showing up at a meeting like this was a right step on the path to becoming totally Jesus-centric.

"Oh, I don't want you to just keep a close eye on him, Justice." Prudence began, her sweet air she had held up during the meeting completely gone now, "I want you to watch him like your life depended on it. If he talks to Giuseppe, and believe me he will, I want to know when, where, why, and what color shoes Giuseppe was wearing! We have to take this extremely seriously because I refuse to loose this fight against some fagot and his queer loving friends, Justice!"
Prudence took a deep breath then took a seat behind the desk she had been standing in front off. She sat at that desk like she was a villain in a James Bond movie ready to push 'the button' and destroy the whole world.
"We have to figure out a way to take GSA down from the inside. . ." said Prudence, talking more to herself at this point, "Giuseppe is emotionally week right now. . . I have a feeling it won't take much to make him crack at this point. What we need is some dirt on their members. . . JUSTICE!" she said suddenly, "I want you to find out what you can about the members of GSA and make sure it's something nasty. Also, now that I think of it, I'd like for you to make me a list of let's say the top ten people in this school who need saving. This school is in need of some serious Christ's love and we're just the people to do it."

As Prudence lost her bubbly-esque demeanor, Justice felt that she could do the same. She was ready to get right down to business.
"Right, I'll be like his shadow," she assured her. "If he so much as looks at a GSA member, you'll know."
Prudence went on to stumble upon a new task one that involved her making a list of the ten students most in need of their help. She smirked at the thought of all this sneaking around she'd get to do.
"I'll be all over that," she said sincerely. "I'd love to get something on the little sinners. And as for the list, well it'll be ahrd to narrow it down to just ten, but I think I'll manage it somehow."
She flicked her dirty blonde hair back over her right shoulder, it had been bothering her, and smirked still more broadly. Oh yes, it was about time they made a stand against those miscreants: she was looking forward to this.

"Excellent." said Prudence with a smirk. She was very please with Justice's enthusiasm for the job she had given her. "Now run along dear. Those little Queers aren't going to spy on themselves now are they?" Justice was one of the few ACS members that Prudence could trust to get the job done. How just absolutely splendid it would be if she single handedly got ride of GSA! Well, not completely herself but she was the master mind behind it all.
"Hm," said Prudence thoughtful, just having a bit of a brain storm, "I was just thinking Justice, if we find that Speelers is in fact tricking us like we suspect, we can always black mail him into helping us. I know for a fact that Garrett has a bit of a violent father who also happens to have an extreme disliking for queers. I expect it would be a terrible amount of trouble for Garrett if his father were to find out he's friends with a bunch of fags." Prudence smirked at her own devious plan. "It's very simple Justice; you catch Speelers doing anything that would cause a disadvantage for us and you tell him we're going to go to his daddy if he doesn't cooperate. Got it?"

"Oh that's so diabolically just," Justice said, clapping her hands slightly. "I'll be sure to do just that."
She smirked and turned on the spot, readjusting her pleated plaid skirt and heading towards the door.
"Well, I''m off," she said over her shoulder. "I've got so much espionage to put into motion."
