Prudence was all ready for the meeting to begin. Finally she was doing something to put an end to GSA, something she'd wanted to get rid of ever since it started up. She waited in Mrs. McRoony's for people to show up. She'd baked a bunch of cookies and bought gallons of iced tea for the occasion.

Warren entered the room without much gusto. He glanced around, as he stuck his lighter back in his pocket. He had shown up for two reasons: one the fact that he had a deep rooted dislike for all the little fagots running around St. James, and two he had a feeling there would be free food at the little operation. Sure enough, he was right.
He nodded briefly at Pru as he took a cookie and then a seat.

Garrett stood outside the classroom waiting for Faye to get there and wishing he had though to step outside for a smoke before hand. He liked helping out the others, but this was quite risky for him. If they found out why he was really here, and it got back to his dad somehow that he was acting as a spy for the "Fag Squad", as his dad so lovingly dubbed them, he could be in some deep shit.
Although, in the grand scheme of things, no more than he'd been in before. That thought was reassuring in a strange way. And he continued waiting for his partner in crime.

Faye arrived at the school for the meeting a little early, hoping to blend in with the rest of the gay-bashers. She knew that blending in would be key, which was why she had carefully chosen her outfit for the night. It consisted of jeans, and her 'Jesus <3's You' tee. She thought it gave her a little edge, but still nothing that a member of this particular crowd wouldn't do. She wouldn't have been surprised to see Prudence wearing the same thing!
She spotted Garrett waiting for her and smiled. "So, are we ready for this perfect crime?" she asked. "Posing as super-Christians? Think you're up for it?"

Garrett had leaned up against the wall while waiting, but stood up straight when he saw Faye coming towards him. He grinned at her choice of attire. He didn't own any clothes like that even if he had thought to wear them. He had worn instead, his black t-shirt with pink and blue skulls on it, a pair of slim fitting jeans, and his chucks. He figured if he had bothered to dress up, he'd just draw attention to himself.
"I think I can handle it," he said with an easy smirk.
Actually, in all honesty, he wasn't entirely sure he could pull it off, but he was already thinking of what he'd say and do in there, and he had faith in himself.
"Well," he said, turning towards the door. "I guess we should in a while."

"I think I can handle it,"
Faye returned his smirk, glad that he was confident about this. If they let anything slip or even so much as hinted at the fact that they didn't really believe in what this meeting was about, well, she couldn't imagine the sort of hell that would ensue.
"Good, because it's show time!" Faye couldn't hide the fact that she was a little excited. She hadn't done anything this interesting in a while, and it was about time she got involved with something that mattered.
"I guess we should in a while."
"I guess we should," Faye agreed, following Garrett in through the door. Yes, it was show time.

Prudence saw two very unlikely people come through the door; Garrett and Faye. She was, of course, immediately suspicious, but who knew, maybe Garrett and Faye were trying to change their ways. Or maybe they were spying for the head fag, Desmond. Prudence wasn't stupid; she knew Garrett was friends with Desmond. Faye was a bit unusual though, perhaps she wasn't in on it and just happened to come at the same time as Garrett. What even was going on, Prudence decided to play it cool.
"Well hello Faye!" said Prudence sweetly with a kind smile, "And Garrett! What a pleasant surprise! I see you've finally seen following the gays isn't the way God wants you to live your life. Especially following a suicidal one!" Prudence had been planning on using Desmond as one of their main topics of conversation; this was going to be an excellent way of testing Garrett. Quite frankly Prudence really wanted to see the boy snap.

Of course Garrett would have liked nothing more than to slap that smirk right off of Prudence's face, but he just shrugged at her.
"I was on my way to the bathroom after I talked to you, when I ran into Faye," he commented casually. "She read one of your fliers and after we talked for a bit, she convinced me to go. I didn't know Desmond had tried to kill himself until afterwards. I guess I chose the wrong friends."
He didn't like having to say things like that about his friends, but he wasn't going to find out much else out if he stood up for them. Nope, it was much better to feel guilty about it later.

Prudence smiled. "Excellent!" she said, clapping her hands together with glee. "I'm so glad you feel that way!" Prudence still wasn't entirely convinced, but there was going to be plenty of other opportunities to get Garrett to snap later when the meeting started. "Well, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go welcome people to the meeting! Tata!" She turned and greeting someone who just walked into the room.

"Well hello Faye! And Garrett! What a pleasant surprise! I see you've finally seen following the gays isn't the way God wants you to live your life. Especially following a suicidal one!"
Faye nodded seriously, hoping that Garrett would be able to handle the blows that Prudence was going to be dealing tonight. This probably wouldn’t be the last reference to Desmond’s suicide attempt, and while Faye prided herself in her ability to put on a brilliant façade she wasn’t sure how much of an actor Garrett was.
"I was on my way to the bathroom after I talked to you, when I ran into Faye. She read one of your fliers and after we talked for a bit, she convinced me to go. I didn't know Desmond had tried to kill himself until afterwards. I guess I chose the wrong friends."
Faye smiled, glad that Garrett had blended the truth with lies well enough for it to be believable. As far as Prudence knew, Faye was a good Christian, and she was friends with Garrett, so why wouldn’t she want to save him from eternal damnation? She wasn’t particularly close to Desmond, so it was extra believable.
"I'm so glad you feel that way! Well, if you'll excuse me, I've got to go welcome people to the meeting! Tata!"
“If you need help with anything, let me know!” Faye called after her before grabbing a cookie and flashing Warren a smile. “So, pick a seat, any seat,” she said, turning to Garrett again.

"See ya," Garrett said to Prude's retreating form.
Garrett hesitated and then took a cookie ((ha ha all I can picture are the cross cookie's from Bubble boy)). He shrugged at Faye when she told him to pick a seat. he walked over to the nearest one to him and popped a squat.
"This one's fine," he said, taking a bite of the cookie.

More and more people started showing up until eventually they had a packed house. Prudence smiled with glee as she skipped up front to start the meeting.
"Hello everyone!" she said with a smile. "For all of you who don't know, I'm Prudence Roberts! I'm the president of the Alliance of Christian students, I see a few members here, and I'm the one that organized this little meeting! Now hopefully you're here because you feel the same way I do; that a homosexual organization such as Gay Straight Alliance doesn't belong in a private Christian school, especially when it's President is a suicidal Homo. Now, some of you might be thinking that there's nothing we can do because this is America and people have rights to organize as they wish. Well, as long as we're in a private school funded by certain individuals, including my father, we only have the rights the funders allow us to have. I've spoken to all the funders and they all think that my organization, The Alliance of Christian Students is splendid, but there were quite a few who voiced concern about GSA and that's why we're here! To figure out how we can get rid of this club. I've spoken to our 'wonderful' Principal who doesn't seem to think as we do." There were hisses and boos from many of the audience members. "So don't expect to have much support from the staff. Well, I'm now going to open the floor to suggestion. Anyone?"

Justice raised her hand at Prudence's question. She wanted only too much to help out for the Alliance of Christians.
"Maybe we should have a fund raiser for our cause or make a petition," she suggested.

Prudence blinked at Justice. "That would be wonderful Justice," she began sweetly, "If we were trying to raise money, but we're not trying to raise money are we? We're trying to raise awareness. We have all the money we could possibly need. And if me talking directly to the principle didn't work, neither is a measly little petition. What we need is a way to show everyone how GSA is a mockery of our school and we need to do it in a big noticeable way. Any other suggestions?"

Warren had taken a seat on the back of the chair, with his shoes on the seat. He stroked his chin thoughtfully.
"Are you talking about something school appropriate or something that'll get the message across?" he asked.

Prudence looked at Warren; the boy was a well none miscreant and Prudence wondered why he bothered to show. "Well, of course I want it school appropriate" she said patiently, "we have to make a good impression." But, if he were to do something to get the point across it would be fine as long as I wasn't involved, Prudence thought maliciously.

"Well if you want school appropriate," Warren began. "Play up on the fact that the head queer tried to kill himself: use it to your advantage. And bring up their small numbers, call it a lack of interest."
What few people knew about Warren was that he had a very calculating mind and could put it to all sorts of uses when he wanted to.

"Well, Desmond's little suicide attemp is definatly going to be one of our platforms and topics of discussion today. Thank you for bringing it up, Warren." said Prudence. "Now for those of you who don't know, Desmond Giuseppe, president of GSA, tried to kill himself over a week ago. In my opinion it just goes to show you how the confusion of homosexuality can drive a person to do crazy things like try to kill themselves. I think we should make it our special mission to try and save Desmond's soul. Who would like to personaly take that mission?"

Justice agreed only too readily that Desmond was a perfect example of the evils of homosexuality. He was obviously a very confused boy who had been led into trying to commit a mortal sin by his already evil ways. She smiled at Prudence's suggestion.
"I'd be happy to save his soul," she offered cheerfully. "I'll make him see the way of happiness is through our Lord ans Savior and not through the sin and damnation of lying with another man."

Garrett listened to all that was said, being careful to remember every vital piece of information. Such as Warren's inquiry as to whether or not they should do something underhanded, or now Prudence's determination to save Desmond's soul. He was also careful to remain impassive in his facial features and general movements. He continued eating his cookie while he listened to Justice's offer that she would personally see to saving Desmond's soul. He wasn't suer if they expected him to be upset by this, but he felt more like laughing if anything. They'd have one hell of a time trying to "save" poor Desmond's soul: not that anyone needed saving based purely on their being a homosexual.

"Excellent!" said Prudence clapping her hands together with excitement. "Now, Justice, you're going to have to work hard when it comes to this one. I've tried saving his soul before and it proved quite difficult! He's quite proud of himself and his sinful ways." Prudence saw this as another opportunity to see who's side Garrett was really on. "Garrett," she said suddenly, "You said you were once friends with Desmond, perhaps you could help Justice since you know Desmond well?"

Garrett straightened up slightly as his name was mentioned. It was just his reaction to being pulled out of his thoughts.
"Oh, I can help give Justice by giving her some pointers if that's what you mean," Garrett said. "But seeing as how I ditched Desmond after he tried to commit suicide, I doubt I'm the person he'd react well to trying to help save his soul."
Garrett felt he'd rather nicely found a way out of that one. It was a logical excuse, and he'd still offered to help in his own small way.

Ooo, Garrett was clever, but Prudence wasn't going to let him slip by that easily. "Well, I'm sure if you apologized to Desmond he'd take you back as a friend. I can say this much about him; he's very forgiving. Then you can help us really get to him and turn him away from his darkness."

So he was actually friends with Desmond, pretending to hate him. . .and now he was supposed to be hating him while pretending to like him. . .did these people want his head to explode? He shrugged at Prude though.
"I mean if you're really desperate, why not?" he said finally. "I can be a sort of back up person, if he doesn't take to Justice's methods."
Of course, he had no intentions of helping them with anything after he;d told Desmond and the others what they needed to know.

Faye listened to the way Garrett responded, and thought that he was rather convincing. She was glad that she was there for moral support, and she rested a hand on his knee. "It'll be fine. Trust me," she said, nodding as though by doing this job for Prudence he would be absolved from his own sins. "This is for the greater good." After all, Faye had supposedly convinced him to come to save his eternal soul, and as far as anybody knew she was a good little catholic girl.
"Is there anything I can do?" she asked, curiously. She didn't want to be the only one there not helping, that'd look suspicious.
