Samual squinted slightly as he walked into the sunlight and out of the establishment. A carefree smile graced his face, lightening his dark and emotionless eyes a great deal. For once his mind was blissfully clear of thought.
Samual found he reveled in these moments, like a man on drugs. He enjoyed them to their full capacity, for the moments in which Samual was not graced by one unholy thought or another was one that passed far too quickly, he thought. Of course, Samual enjoyed his hobbies, but feeling like he was not so much of a villain every once and a while almost made him feel human.
He sighed deeply, breathing in the crisp autumn air.

Usually after school Desmond went right to the band room for drum line practice. Today, however, Desmond had left his drum line music in his car so he had no choice but to go out side and get it. Joking around with his drum line friends, he told them to time him before he ran out of the band room and down the hall. When he went dashing out the front doors of the had to curve quickly to the left to avoid running into someone who appeared to be a teacher. Try as he might, Desmond still ended up brushing against the man.
Desmond turned back and said "Sorry!" and as he did so he felt like his heart had stopped; he knew that man, and it wasn't from seeing his around school. It was the man who Desmond had to escort out of Babylon a few nights before. Desmond thought the man was a teacher and he was right!
"So, I guess you got home alright." said Desmond with a smirk.

Something had brushed past Samual in a hurry. Samual would normally have liked to analyze exactly why someone would hurry so much, who the person was, what grade they were in, what activities they may be rushing for but in this mood he was in currently, he didn't give those pesky little details too much mind.
He was ready to forgive just about anything...except what his counterpart was about to say. He woke up quite suddenly to the realization that his counterpart was the Prick--Mr. Mom.
His almost clear eyes turned suddenly quite cold, but his expression was, nonetheless pleasant. "Excuse me?" He said, hoping the little Prick would back off.

Desmond smirked; either this guy was too drunk to remember what had happened or he was playing dumb. Well, he hadn't been to keen to reveal he was a teacher at Babylon, so why would he want to reveal he was at Babylon when he was a teacher? Either way, Desmond wasn't going to let him off that easy.
"After Babylon the other night," he said, "I helped you get into a cab because you were drunk. Remember?" Desmond knew he had the right guy; you just didn't forget a face like this guy had. He had that "rape me while I'm passed out drunk" type of face.

Samual had been knocked bodily out of his good mood and now he had to put up with little Prick here. Samual couldn't say that he didn't enjoy the company, now that he got a good look at Mr. Mom. He was another slender youth with dyed hair which was fairly common of this day and age. Samual was rather proud of his blond hair and refused to join the trend, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the view from afar.
Nonetheless, Samual was rather angry now. Being confronted for what he did as Samual while at school was absolutely unacceptable. He should not have let his guard down at the night club and allow himself to be seen by a student.
"I think you may have me confused with someone. I wasn't alive during the Babylonian era. I should know--I'm a history teacher." He chuckled, his eyes still icy, as if warning the Prick to go any further with the conversation. "But you must be a very good person to help drunk people into cabs."

"No, I haven't confused you with anyone." said Desmond simply. He wasn't about to be fooled by anyone, even a teacher. "And you're lucky that I'm such a good person, otherwise I probably would have told the whole school by now. I knew you were a teacher back at Babylon, but I didn't push the matter because you obviously wanted to keep it under wraps. I'm not going to tell anyone if that's what you think. Besides, there's nothing wrong with going out clubbing in your free time, even if you are a teacher."
Desmond kept his voice calm and reasonable even though he detected anger from the man. The teacher had kept his voice calm, but Desmond could tell by his demeanor that he was far from relaxed.
"I'm Desmond." he said, "I'm president of the Gay Straight Alliance so you don't have to worry about me outing you." He felt the need to offer that bit of information in hopes of it assuring the teacher. He knew it was hard for people of all ages to come out so he didn't want to pressure the poor guy.

"Clubbing, you say? Are you a bit too young for clubs?" This time there was a hint of a smirk on his face.
Gotcha! The little Prick pointed out his own mistakes. Samual might have let the matter slide, but now he had blackmail material and he wasn't letting go until he was sure the matter would blow itself over. He glared piercingly at the boy and took a few steps closer.
"Out me? And say what? I'm not anything, Desmond." He was speaking in an undertone, more to himself than to his darling little conversationalist, the President of the Gays. Samual didn't have a preference, and liked to think of himself more as asexual than sexual at all. People were just pretty bodies and easily pliable minds. Control the mind and you control the body.

"Oh, I'm 18, it's perfectly legal for me to be out clubbing as long as I don't drink," said Desmond with a smile, "And I don't drink when I go clubbing." Desmond knew the teacher was just trying to one up him. There really wasn't much dirt on Desmond, when he did drink he was very careful about it and half the time he was the designated driver.
"You're not anything?" Desmond repeated with a half smile. "Then that would make you nothing, in which case you wouldn't be standing here having a conversation with me." Desmond wasn't going to push the matter of the man being gay; he obviously wasn't comfortable about it.

"Well, who's to say you weren't drinking but an eyewitness?" Samual distinctly remembered Desmond being alone, making the only eyewitness, himself. He smiled pleasantly at the boy in a nearly threatening way. He refused to back off. The boy was taunting him now, not only for being found at a nightclub but for the boy's own mistake of being caught by a teacher in a nightclub.
"Don't laugh. I'm serious." It was a heartbeat of a moment in which Samual's tried and true Mr. Benson mask slipped. He was not quite prepared for it, because nothing seemed to stop the hint of emotion which appeared in his dark and pitiless eyes.
He was hurt. The boy had actually managed to hurt him. When Samual had said he was nothing he had been expected to be taken seriously, but it seems Desmond-dearest had other ideas. Desmond wanted to laugh at him, especially when Samual was trying to defend himself, and, for the first time in the history of his teaching career, Samual had been struck with pain, no matter how emotionally minuscule.
But the heartbeat passed and Mr. Benson gradually returned to his normal facade, though slightly shaken as he may have been.

Desmond giggled. "I don't know that they'd take the word of someone who was severely intoxicated at the time!" said Desmond. He wasn't laughing to be an asshole, he was just laughing because that's how Desmond was. He could find humor and almost any situation and he was just all around a jolly person. He was also just stating a simple fact; sure the man could say he saw Desmond drinking, but he had no way to prove it.
"Don't laugh. I'm serious."
Desmond's smile faded. He's obviously upset the man without meaning to. "I'm sorry," he said sincerely, "but it's true, I really don't think any one would take the word of someone who was drunk at the time. And I was just joking earlier; I just thought it was funny when you said you were nothing. . . "
Desmond scratched the back of his head awkwardly. "I should probably go get my music. . . "

Samual's smile was bright as the sunlight around him, while his eyes were icy cold, locked on little Mr. Mom--his darling counterpart, Prick-dearest. It was at that moment that Samual knew something had to be done about his attitude problem. No one treated Samual this way and stayed 'untouched' by his influence. This boy was blatantly mocking Samual, even when Samual had tried to have a completely civil conversation with the absolute nuisance. Samual couldn't help but feel annoyed and rather humiliated.
He was being spoken to as if he were a child, Samual brooded dejectedly. He listened to Desmond without even really giving the boy a chance to remedy this situation. In Samual's mind, Prick needed to be taught a lesson he would never forget.
"That's alright, Desmond." Stupid little prick. "You just keep laughing." He'd never understand what it was like to be like Samual was. Samual was a bad person. When he had told the boy that, he wasn't lying to him. Samual knew he was bad, vile and every other rendition of a villain. He couldn't help himself at first and after his few years of fighting, he couldn't stop himself.
Samual smiled warmly and disarmingly at Desmond, inwardly plotting the best way to cut him down, both mentally and physically. His cold eyes scanned the contours of his face, memorizing them, before turning to leave.

Desmond frowned. "I didn't meant to offend you." he said. Desmond looked at the man carefully; there was something about him Desmond didn't like. The man was smiling, yet his face held none of the warmth of a smile. It was cold and devious, the type of person Desmond tried to stay away from. Desmond had dealt with a lot so far his senior year, and he wasn't about to lay more on by getting to involved with this person.
Desmond made a mental not to keep away from the man. He was clearly someone who was not to be trusted. Without another word or any type of goodbye, Desmond took his Dior Sunglass out of his back pocket, put them on and turned and walked away to his car.
