After the Football Game!!

Garrett nudged Audrey in the arm. Why would she go and ask a question like that?

"Why do you feel the need to embarrass people all the time," Garrett asked her, shaking his head slightly.

[Viola Hastings]

Viola felt her cheeks flush slightly at Audrey's question adn was flattered that the cute boy across from her had stood up from her, but decided to take charge of the situation.

"Thanks, but I thihnk I can answer that. It's a tough choice. . .I mean these are some sexy poppers, but in the end the poppers don't have nice, shaggy hair so I guess I'm going to have to go with Vinnie," she said in a joking tone. She wasn't trying to offend Vinnie.

[vinnie]

"Oh my god." breathed Vinnie with embarrassment as he rested his forehead on his hand in an effort to hid his face just a little bit. They were having a nice conversation then Audrey had to go and fuck it up. Luckily, Viola handled the situation well and she thought Vinnie was hotter which only made him blush a little bit, but his face was half hidden anyway. Vinnie was starting to think he'd never be able to cut his annoying hair, people seemed to like it too much and he didn't want to disappoint anyone.

"Umm, thanks. . " said Vinnie awkwardly with a small smile, unable to look up at Viola, "I'd choose you over the poppers as well." He didn't know what else to say to thank, but he was flattered by her decision.

[audrey]

"Shhhhh." said Audrey stroking Garrett's hair, "The adults are talking now." she spoke to Garrett like he was a child then smirked at Viola and waited for her answer. She chose Vinnie of course, who wouldn't? Vinnie looked pretty embarrassed, but Audrey really didn't care. The kid needed to learn that girls actually thought he was hot. "Me personally, I'd pick the poppers." Audrey hated poppers, but she loved being an asshole.

[Viola Hastings]

"Thanks," Viola said with a slightly embarrassed grin at Vinnie.

She really didn't think she liked Audrey after all. . .she was being patronizing towards that poor kid and apparently enjoyin gembarrassing both her and Vinnie. Then again perhaps she was just having an off day.

"Well each to their own, I guess," she said referring to the Audrey's choosing the poppers.

Garrett ran his fingers through his hair wear Audrey had stroked it. He didn't like it when people touched his head. . .plus that had messed up the messy, rebellious look his hair had to it. ((Or the will eat babies look according to Amanda))

"I'm older than you," he said indignantly, when Audrey said the adults were talking.

[vinnie]

Vinnie jerked his head at Audrey and mouthed "sorry" across the table to Viola. "Yeah, Audrey, Garrett is a good three months older than you actually." said Vinnie. He had to get his little bit in before turning back to Audrey. "So, umm, that wasn't insanely awkward or anything." said Vinnie scratching the back of his head with an awkward smile. "Is my hair really that attractive? Everybody always comments about my hair. . . I don't understand. I actually find is very annoying." just then Vinnie had to brush some of his hair out of his eyes. "See? I don't know how you ladies handle it. It drives me crazy."

[Viola Hastings]

Viola held out her wrist which had a black ponytail on it.

"We usually pull it all back," she said with a grin. "But shaggy hair on guys is just. . .hot. I don't know why, it just is."

[vinnie]

Vinnie blushed; he hadn't got the shaggy hair on guys is hot memo. So, girls just liked the shaggy hair look then. If his hair was so hot then why didn't he have a girl friend? Oh, well, he was still young, there will be plenty of time to find a girl. He thought for a moment; what kind of hair did he like on girls? He hadn't really given it much thought before. Hair really didn't matter to him, he just liked it well kept. "I don't like using the pony tail." said Vinnie shaking his head, "It just looks weird to me, too girlie I guess. It works for some guys, but not for me."

[Viola Hastings]

"Yeah, you might look a little weird with a ponytail," she said, tilting her head slightly in thought. "It does look nice now, but if it bothers you like you say it does, maybe you should just cut it."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Or I could smash your pretty face with a frying pan if you ever got your gorgeous hair cut!" said Desmond butting in. He loved Vinnie's hair more than anything ever. "God gave you great hair for a reason, Vinnie! It's a gift to all of man kind! Who are you to take that gift away? HMM?" He felt a little bad for cutting into Vinnie's conversation with Viola. It seemed to be going very well and Lord knows how badly Vinnie needs a girlfriend, but as soon as you say something about Vinnie cutting his hair Desmond has to say something in protest. Desmond reached over and stroked Vinnie's dirty blond hair. "Awww, it's like a puppy!" he said with a sigh.

Hot tattoo boy was being very quiet, so was Blane's cousin, but hot tattoo guy more so. Lena thought for a moment of how pissed Blane would be if she started dating his cousin. The thought made her giggle a little bit to herself. But then the poor boy would probably be beaten to death by Blane and the rest of the foot ball team, so it wasn't such a good idea now that she thought more about it. Oh, Well, back to quiet sexy tattoo man!

"Umm, hi." she said to the guy. "You're awfully quiet. . . Let down because you didn't get to fight anyone?"

[Kyan Walker]

"Not really," Kyan said looking up at. . .Vinnie's? sister. "Just hungry really. There's always another fight another day."

She wasn't abd looking, but she was perhaps. . .too young for his taste. She was going to be one of those knock out girls when she was a senior.

[adelena]

"Oh, I see." Did this mean he was the type of guy that got in lot of fights at school? Because if so, that was pretty hot. Not take home to dad material, but hot none the less. "Do you get in many fights?" she asked.

[vinnie]

Vinnie was used to Desmond fondling his hair so he even leaned over a bit so Desmond could better reach his 'gorgeous' locks. "Don't worry Desmond, just for you I'll keep it like this." he said with smile. He couldn't possibly disappoint a good friend. "Would you like a feel?" he asked Viola. Why not? Everyone was going to end up feeling his head so might as well get it over with. Viola did express interest in his hair.

[Kyan Walker]

'Not really," Kyan said, taking a sip of his rootbeer float. "There are just plenty at my school if I ever want to get involved with them. And of course there's the occasional fight or two I get into with an underclass man bully at my our school."

[Viola Hastings]

"Umm okay," Viola said.

She wasn't used to people just offerring their hair up to be felt. She ran her fingers through his though: it was soft and smooth to the touch. She giggled slightly, which wasn't quite like her.

"Oh so soft," she said with a wink.

[adelena]

Public school always seemed to have more fighting going on than private school. Lena guess that public school kids were just more pissed off. "Well, there are a occasional fights at my school, most involving Blane or Warren and most not getting too out of hand. Vinnie has been in a few fights, but it's always on the defensive side, trying to help out someone who's getting picked on so he never get into much trouble. He used to get into quite a few fights with Blane outside of school, but had to tone it down after we started dating. Now I hope Blane runs into Vinnie on a deserted street in the middle of the night." She smiled to herself at the very thought. Lena took a bite of her mozzarella stick. Emm, it was quite yummy. "The food here is very good. I don't come here very often, I'm going to have to make a point of coming here more."

[vinnie]

"Thanks." said Vinnie with a smile, "I use this shampoo that comes in a yellow bottle. I don't know what its called though. . . My sister makes me get it. Its like, Sun something." He would have asked Lena, but she was too busy talking to the guy with all the tattoos. This made Vinnie a little uneasy. He wasn't judging the guy because he had tattoos and piercings, he was just always a little uncomfortable when he saw his sister talking to guys. Then he remembered something Vi had told him at Starbucks. "Hey, is that your friend Kyan?" he asked jerking his head ever so slightly in the guys direction. Pointing would have been rude.

[Viola Hastings]

Viola didn't mind the shampoo talk, but she hoped they would change the subject soon. Then Vinnie asked about Kyan. She glanced over at her friend and then back to Vinnie and nodded.

"Yep, that would be him," she said.

[vinnie]

"Oh, ok." said Vinnie with a small nod, "Just wondering." Vinnie remembered Viola saying that Kyan was bi, but by the looks of things he didn't seem to interested in Lena. This made Vinnie feel a little better. Now what to talk about? Vinnie had to think of something quick before there was an uncomfortable silence. "Um so, do you come here often?" he asked, the question just randomly popping into his head.

[brooke]

"Really?" Brooke said to Tadhg, taking another popper and savoring every bite. She wondered what the poppers could have possibly done to earn Tadhg's distrust, but just sort of laughed it off. "If you say so..." she couldn't imagine anybody not liking poppers, though. They were delicious!

Brooke listened to the conversation, laughing slightly as Vinnie essentially allowed people to pet his head in order to feel his hair. "It does sort of hide your eyes, though," she commented, as he brushed a large piece of it out of his face yet again. Brooke shrugged. "Your decision, though. I mean, you shouldn't just keep it because everyone else likes it. It *is* your hair, after all."

[Tadhg Kelly]

Tadhg begged to differ with Lena's commetn about them not getting out of hand, but didn't say anything. In the past couple of weeks he'd been duck taped to a chair, punched so many times he had internal bleeding, been punched in the nads, and slammed into so many lockers he couldn't count.

"That's the best part about shaggy hair," Tad commented. "It's like a defense mechanism. You can hide behind it."

He did that for fun sometimes: let all of his bangs slide in front of his face. It was good if he needed to avoid someone in the hall ways, or keep people form bothering him while reading.

[brooke]

Brooke knew what Tadhg was thinking. She remembered how Blane had completely flipped out on the two of them not too long ago... she knew how out of hand he could get. She was just lucky that nothing too horrible had happened here tonight.

"Hey, I can hide behind my bangs too," Brooke observed, allowing her newly cut hair to fall over her face in sheets. "I couldn't really do that with my old hair cut. I guess it could be useful... except now. Now it's just blocking my mouth from my poppers!" she was still rather hungry, and took her third popper from the tray. "So... do you guys do this all the time?" she asked the band kids. Obviously Tadhg hadn't, since he had just moved here, and Lena had always been at the afterparty with Brooke.

"Most games they do," Garrett chimed in.

He was glad to say that his hair was always out of his eyes, thanks to it's natural messy nature and a genrerous amount of hair gel. However, he had other ways of keeping himself "hidden". Now, for example, he was hunched over slightly while eating and had his head titlted towards the table, only looknig up ocassionally to speak or when addressed.
