Lena gave her brother an annoyed look; he always did this! Every time he started to like a guy Vinnie went and scared him away! Well, not this time! Sebastian had just moved there and Lena called first dibs! "Oh, don't listen to Vinnie." said Lena sweetly. "He's just over protective, but he's really just a big soft once you get to know him." Lena shot Vinnie a warning look. "Well, I'll leave you boys to your business then, bu bye!" She waved to Sebastian and began to walk down the hallway. She'd flirt with Sebastian later when Vinnie wasn't around.

[Viola Hastings]

"Uh okay, bye," she said, waving as Lena left.

She turned back to Vinnie and grinned awkwardly, scratching at the back of her neck.

"So. .. uhh how 'bout that tour?" she asked.

[Desmond Giuseppe]

Desmond didn't have a clue what he was doing on his Chemistry so he went to search for Vinnie who was a genius at that stuff. When he found Vinnie he was with a new guy, but when Desmond got closer he noticed it wasn't a guy at all; it was a girl. That girl Viola from the diner and the football game the other week who was also Tad's cousin. Desmond held back a laugh, and it wasn't easy to do so; he just saw Lena come over and flirt with her. It was really sad how Vinnie couldn't tell a girl in drag from a real boy, then again Vinnie was mildly retarded. Desmond could tell right away mostly because he's met Viola before, other wise he would have just suspected her to be a very girlie looking boy. She did have the advantage of almost no one from St. James knowing her too.

Viole obviously had a purpose for dressing up like a guy; why would she just do it for the hell of it? Unless she was into that kind of stuff, but Desmond didn't think so. Of course he wasn't going to rat her out, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to have fun with her.

"Oh hey Vinnie," said Desmond casually, pretending not to notice Viola at first, "about our Chem homework- oh my, who is this?" he looked over at Viola and grinned as if he just noticed her, "You're cute!" he put his hand on Viola's shoulder then ran his finger down her arm with a seductive look on his face, "What's your name gorgeous?"

Viola felt herself tense up when she spotted someone who was actually a friend of her cousin's. Oh God, not only did he try to. . .flirt with her, but he put his hand on her. She smiled uncomfortably and shrugged away as politely as she could imagine. ((Picture the hug. . .that lasted too long))

"He--hey," she said, her voice rising slightly. She cleared her throat and broke out into the awkward ghetto-southern drawl. "I mean uhh. .. hey. . .sup. my name's Sebastian."

[Desmond Giuseppe]

Desmond could tell he was making Viola uncomfortable and grinned with satisfaction. He had to try his hardest not to laugh. "Sebastian huh? Like the crab?" he asked flirtatiously, "I'm Desmond, a friend of Vinnie's. Just friends, but I hope you and I can be more than friends." He could sense Vinnie shaking with laughter behind him. He knew this wouldn't give Viola away at all because it was normal for Desmond to try to make knew kids feel uncomfortable. "Well, let me give you a welcome to St. James hug!" Desmond put her in a tight hug, cuddling the side of her face and not letting go.

Viola jerked out of Desmond's embrace, and shifted her messenger bag. She chuckled nervously.

"Yeah, uuh sorry," she said. She looked over at Vinnie as if looking for an escape.

"I don't like guys,"she lied, but well enough. "Sorry, I'm straight. But I mean. . .cool that you do. . ."

[vinnie]

Vinnie couldn't take it anymore; if he laughed any longer he thought he might explode. He leaned over so he could take to Sebastian around Desmond. "Don't worry," he assure him, "He's just fucking with you, it's his way of welcoming you to St. James. He does it all the time. He's really not this flirty on a regular basis so just bare with it for now." Desmond had done it to Vinnie a few times too and still does it on occasions so he's used to it, but he felt bad for Sebastian who was a new coming to this sort of treatment.

"Well that's really friendly of you," she said uncertainly. "Really. . . .do uhh. .. thanks, I guess?"

Viola was used to the casual flirty of Kyan. Not the hello there let me latch on and snuggle with you flirty that Desmond seemed to embrace. . .literally at that.

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Yeah, Sugar Pop, don't be freak out." he said after Vinnie assurance. "I may like boy's, but you're not really my type." As in you defiantly have boobs and a vagina. Desmond couldn't help but giggle to himself; some times his own thoughts cracked him up. "So tell me your story, Lemon drop, why are you here?" Desmond was really turning up his gay now.

"Ok peach ring. . ." Viola said uncertainly. "Ah just moved in with my dad and brother, Tad, for a semester. Our parents are divorced, and I live with our mom. My dad convinced her to let me come stay with him for a semester though."

She, Tad, and Jon had gone over the story until they were certain it was flawless.

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Peach Ring?" said Desmond thoughtfully, "I like that one! I'll have to try it out some time!"

"Oh! You're Tad's brother?" said Desmond in mock shock; he figured she was going to tell him some sort of story like that. Desmond also made a note to tell Viola that her 'guy talk' was very bad. "I didn't know he had a brother! Oh well, some times people are shocked to hear I have a brother. Well, it seemed like my sexy Italian friend was giving you a tour so I'll leave you to that!" Desmond blew 'Sebastian' a kiss before turning and skipping away down the hall way. He thought he'd tell her he knew who she was in a few days; he didn't want to discourage her on her first day as a guy.

[vinnie]

Vinnie chuckled as Desmond skipped down the hallway. He was surprised that Desmond could be so jolly after trying to kill himself a little over a week ago, but he always knew Desmond was one to bounce back rather quickly. Between Desmond and Lena Vinnie wouldn't be surprised if Sebastian never wanted to come back to school. It was quite a loaded first morning at St. James.

"Wow, he was really turning up the gay for you." said Vinnie with amusement. "Don't be freaked out or anything; he really was just joking. Well, we'd better get going if you want me to help you find at least your first class before the warning bell goes off."

"Yeah, uhh sure," Viola said. That had been interesting to say the least. ((can't think of anything else to say to that actually))

[vinnie]

The poor guy seemed at a loss for words. "Ok, well, you have your schedule, so what's your first class?" Vinnie asked.

Viola looked down at her schedule. She saw the first class on her list and frowned.

"Chemistry," she said. She wasn't big on the whole science thing.

[vinnie]

"Chemistry?" said Vinnie with excitement; it was one of his favorite subjects just after Physics. "Do you take Accel Chem by chance? That's what I have first block!"

[Viola Hastings]

"Actually," Viola said rechecking her schedule. "I do."

How did that happen? It was too late to go about changing it now, but at lest she'd have a friend in the class. So she wouldn't be alone on top of bored out of her mind.

[vinnie]

"Awesome!" said Vinnie. "You'll like Mr. Gowain, he's really cool and he class isn't as boring as some might think. We've got to get going though because his class room is on the second floor!" Vinnie quickly lead Sebastian over to the nearest stairwell and ran quickly up the stairs just as the warning bell sounded. "crap!" Vinnie muttered under his breath as he reached the second floor. He'd never been late for class before in his entire life, not even when he went though his 'vicious streak' in Jr. High. He raced down the hall, made a left, then stopped at the first class room on the right and waited for Sebastian.

Viola followed after Vinnie, running to keep up. She heard the bell and realized she might be late for her first class, so she quickened her pace. She caught up to Vinnie and paused to wait for him to go into class first.
