"Malone?" said Ravi with a slight frown, stopping just behind Kyan. "You're never called me Malone before. . . you must really be smashed!" Ravi had taken no notice to the quick eye contact between Kyan and Toby. He was more concerned about getting himself and Kyan out of there without being plowed over my dozens of drunk teenagers trying to get out of the house before the cops came in. He was almost trampled a few times himself.
"Oh never mind! Come on!" said Ravi, taking Kyan's arm and leading him to the exit. Ravi was still pretty afraid that Kyan wouldn't be able to walk out of there with out assistance. Once they were out side Ravi wasn't really sure where to go.
"Are you ok?" he asked Kyan with concern, "Do you know how you're getting home? Do you need to lie down or something? Do you need a place to stay or something? I think my dad's place is within walking distance. . . or we could go get some food to help sober you up or . . or. . ."

"I'm fine," Kyan said with a smirk returning to his lips now that they were outside and away from the cops and immediate danger. "I don't need any food."
He turned to walk down the street in the opposite direction from the house they'd been in. He realized Viola still had his shirt as the cold night air pressed in on his bare torso. He knew she'd been trying to give him one less thing to worry about, but he found himself missing the warmth it provided. The stitches shone in the light from the street lamp he stood near and he rolled his eyes.
"Maybe I'll go to Babylon," he mused.

Officer Frank Stone was one of the officer's accompanying Reggie that night. He let her turn the siren on early figuring, much like she had, it would be nice to give the kids a sporting chance. He pressed on the break as they reached the house, for he'd been behind the wheel. He adjusted his belt as he got out of the car and went up to the front door. He knocked on the front door and sure enough, some drunken 15 or 16 year old opened it right up for him. He nodded to Reggie and forged on ahead inside the house. "This is the police," he said calmly. "You're all under arrest for underage drinking." He wasn't talking to many kids at this point: only 5 or so had remained behind. Those that had seemed either too drunk to move or simply not quick enough.

As soon as Vinnie heard the sirens he knew it was time to get the fuck out of there. He'd only had a few drinks himself, but that plus just being in the presence of alcohol was enough to get him into some serious trouble. The worst part was that Zanna hadn't done anything and if she got in trouble it was Vinnie's fault for asking her to come. ((I don't remember if Zanna had a drink or not, so yeah))
"We got to go!" said Vinnie, getting a gental grasp on her wrist; he didn't want to hurt her or seem forceful, but they really had to go. "Come on!" He lead her into the crowd of drunken teens who were trying to get out through the back porch. On the way out he saw a few familiar faces leaving as well, like Garrett, Faye, and Desmond's cousin Ravi with the tattooed guy who was at the diner that one night. Seeing all these people made Vinnie realized that Paul and Desmond hadn't come out yet, but he knew those guys would be fine; neither one had drank enough to not be able to get themselves away from the cops.
Vinnie safely lead Vanna out of the house and threw the bushes that lined the perimeter of the backyard. He wanted to get a safe distance away before asking Vanna how they could get her home or if she needed a place to stay for the night since driving her home was simply out of the question. Once they were well hidden a few yards away (and I mean the actual space around your house not just meters) Vinnie stopped and turned to Zanna.
"Sorry I kinda had to pull you out of that" he began, a bit out of breath from the frantic escape, "I just didn't want you to get in trouble because of me." Vinnie looked around at his surroundings for second to get his bearings, "I think we're a few blocks away from my house, it would be a bad walk, but we'd have to stay hidden because there's an eleven o' clock curfew on Halloween. We could just go there so we're not standing around out side and then we can figure out how to get you home. If that's ok with you that is," Vinnie added hastily, "I just want to make sure you end up somewhere safe. And if you absolutely have to, you're welcome to stay at my place."
Vinnie knew it sounded a little sketchy, but. like he said, he wanted to make sure Zanna was some where safe and if that meant having her stay at his place then that was ok with him. Vinnie just didn't know how Zanna felt about it. After all, the last time they ended up at his place stuff went down. He just wasn't sure how comfortable with it Zanna was. . . And there was her mother. Vinnie didn't want Zanna's mom coming after her or him for her not being home that night. Well, whatever was the best option, they were just gonna have to go with it.

When Desmond is drinking and Desmond hears cop sirens, Desmond fucking runs. Cal obviously felt the same way because he was out of there before Desmond could blink. Desmond, as much as he loved HP, was not about to get arrested dressed up like old school James Potter. Of course Desmond's first priority was to make sure his friends got out; he saw Garrett, Faye, Tadhg, Brooke, Vinnie, Zanna, and Paul (because I'm too lazy to post with him) all get out. He even saw his cousin dragging that Kyan out of the house. Part of Desmond wished that Ravi would have just left the kid behind, but Desmond had more important things to worry about, like where the fuck Audrey was.
Desmond saw her in the kitchen and grabbed her by the arm.
"What the fuck are you doing?" she demanded, "You made me spill my drinks!"
"COPS!" Desmond exclaimed and dragged his drunk friend out of the house. Luckily they had walked from his house to the party in the first place so escaping back to his house wasn't a problem at all.

Ravi followed after Kyan. Their pace began to slow down the further they got from the cop infested house. If they hadn't just been at a party it would have looked like they were just taking a leisurely walk together except Kyan was shirtless and Ravi was dressed as Ash Ketchum.
"You can not go to Babylon like this!" Ravi exclaimed, sounding remarkably like his mother, Spanish accent and all. Even Ravi was shocked by it. "Sorry," he added timidly, "I just think that right now we should probably focus on just getting home. There is a curfew tonight you know and even though you're over eighteen you still could be question and you're obviously drunk and obviously not twenty one."
The fresh air was enough to sober Ravi up a bit and get him thinking clearly again. He was surprised he was being so calm yet stern with Kyan; usually he could barely string sentences together near the guy. Ravi supposed it was because of a combination of him still being a little tipsy and Kyan being pretty drunk himself. Plus he was just overwhelmed with concern for Kyan after the whole cop situation.
The more they walked the more and more Ravi realized he was starting to feel cold and Kyan didn't even have a shirt on! Kyan was obviously feeling chilly, but lucky for him Ravi had a shirt to spare! He took off his short sleeve collared shirt and handed it to Kyan. Immediately, as light as the shirt was, he felt his chills get worse, but he was still better off than Kyan.
"Here," he said, forcing the shirt into Kyan's hands, "I know it's not your style, but it's better than being shirtless right?" Ravi crossed his arms over his chest, trying to keep in as much warmth as possible. "Besides, being shirtless might attract unwanted attention." He realized he was still wearing the stupid Ash hat so he took it off and kept it under his crossed arms. Now he at least looked normal. Ravi really didn't know where they were going, but he figured they'd end up somewhere. . . right?

Kyan's eyes narrowed as Ravi told him he wasn't allowed to go to Babylon. Kyan had never like being told what he could or could not do.
"I've been drunk at Babylon after curfew before," Kyan said, feeling slightly more sober than he'd been when he'd been inside. The night air sometimes had that effect on him.
He had wrapped his arms around his bare chest, wanting to try to hide his chills. It was almost November and . .he wasn't quite plastered enough to not be able to feel the cold air. It was then that Ravi handed him the pokemon shirt costume. He stared at it a moment, and had it been another scenario, he might have tried to give it back as politely as he could, but . . .considering how cold he felt, he simply threw it on an murmured 'thanks.' He only buttoned one button though, the middle one, and refolded his arms across his chest.
If he was at Babylon, the attraction would be more than wanted, he thought. The more he thought about it, the more he realized how stupid coming to this party had been in the first place. He could have gone to Babylon where there was always the chance that Kinney would be looking for a good fuck. . .or even his friend Novotny. Here he'd found Andy Brower and the cops.
"Fuck this shit," he murmured slowly, seemingly out of nowhere. He began moving in the direction of his home. "I'm going. . .bed. I'm going *to* bed. Babylon'll have to wait for the fucking stitches."
Mostly he didn't feel like going out to fuck at Babylon now that he thought of Andy. . .and Toby although a part of him wanted to go out more now. Perhaps, he'd see how he felt tomorrow. . whenever he got around to waking up.

Ravi was delighted when Kyan put on his shirt, as begrudgingly as it was. He suppressed laugh; it was just funny seeing Kyan in a shirt Ravi used for his pokemon costume. It was made even funnier by the fact that Ravi was still a little tipsy. Then came the realization that Kyan Walker was wearing his shirt! Ravi suddenly blushed and was grateful that he was about half step behind Kyan so he couldn't see it.
Suddenly Kyan changed direction and muttered something about going to bed. "Kyan!" Ravi exclaimed in a whisper as he went after him. "Are you sure you can make it home on your own? Do you need me to help you? Do you know where you're going? Will your parents be mad if you come home drunk?"
Suddenly Ravi stopped dead in is tracks, his eyes widened in fear; what was he going to do? He'd been so concerned about making sure Kyan was ok that he completely forgot about himself. If he went home drunk his mothers would kill him! Plus he had no idea where he was! He'd lost the direction he'd written to get to the party at the party and he didn't have his cell phone on him! It wasn't like he could just walk to Desmond's and stay there because he wouldn't even know how to find Desmond's house! He knew his best option was to get in contact with his father and get him to pick him up. . . If he wasn't already drunk at Babylon. Ravi had a feeling there would be some Halloween activities there.
"Kyan!" Ravi said desperately, "Do-do you mind if I g-go to your house with you and call my dad so he can pick me up? I-I'd just rather not wait for him out in the cold. . . and drunk underage out in the open on Halloween. . ."

Kyan gave a little laugh at the thought of his parents caring if he came home drunk. His parents were usually just happy when he came home. It meant he wasn't likely spending the night with some guy from the bar. Although, he always left before two or three in the morning, so he could slip into his room and get a few hours of sleep before school.
"They'll be fine," he said.
Ravi then asked if he could come to his house to use the phone. He was immediately skeptical. Was this some sort of plan to get into his house and meet his parents? He shook his head slightly, deciding he was drunkenly ranting inside his own head.
"Sure, whatever," he said with a shrug of his shoulders.

"Thank you." said Ravi sincerely. The only problem was he didn't know how happy his father was going to be about him being at Kyan's house. Based on what Rivers had seen at the hospital and what Ravi's cousin, Desmond, had told him. Ravi wasn't too happy with him cousin right now because of all the things Desmond told his father, but apparently Rivers had developed an impression of Kyan on his own; he was afraid that, because of the stabbing, Kyan was the type of person to attract dangerous people and didn't want Ravi to be around him. Ravi knew that this wasn't true so he sorta . . . kinda didn't listen to his father.
"A-are you still upset about Toby?" Ravi asked cautiously. He knew that it had to be a sensitive subject, but Ravi hoped that talking about it would make him feel better. Besides, Ravi was super pissed at Toby for doing it. "I-I mean it really was a crappy thing to do. . . especially after every thing you've done for him. . ."

Kyan's eyes narrowed slightly, but slowly at the mentioning of Toby. He didn't feel like talking about it at all. He still wasn't even sure how he felt about the whole thing. A part of him felt as though he shouldn't care, it was his idea to have the open ended relationship. The other part of him, the drunker part, still felt like he'd been betrayed somehow by the secrecy of it. He'd been taken off guard by Andy's sudden appearance.
Why are you so hung up on Toby?" he murmured. "Besides, he doesn't owe me anything. . .he can fuck around with whoever he wants."

"Because he obviously hurt you!" said Ravi stubbornly, "and that's not right no matter what the circumstance! Even if you did have an 'open' relationship or what ever the fuck you want to call it! What he did still wasn't right! Andy obviously wants to do more that just fuck Toby! I think Andy wants Toby to be his boyfriend! And it looks like Toby is going along with it. . ." Ravi paused to take a deep breath to calm himself down.
"I heard what you told Toby at the hospital." Ravi admitted timidly, "I-I was listening through the door. . . I heard all of it. . . So I know this all has to bother you no matter how much you're pretending it doesn't. I also know it must have taken a lot for you to admit something like that and Toby obviously doesn't appreciate that and that bothers me too because if. . .well, yeah." Ravi stopped. He knew that if it had been himself that Kyan had said all that stuff to, he wouldn't have turned into a cheating whore like Toby had. Plus Ravi was just bothered by the fact that it had upset Kyan. Even if Ravi knew he would never get Kyan to like him, he still cared about his and didn't want to see him hurt.
"I mean, Toby knew what you were like, if he didn't want to be in that type of relationship he should have said no!" said Ravi, with a bit more conviction that before. "and he does owe you something; you gave him a place to stay when his parents kicked him out! And don't act like that's nothing because it is something! My moms told me about all these gay kids who whined up on the streets because their parents kicked them out! Because of you Toby had a place to live!"

Ravi was right. . .about everything. And that was the worst part of everything he'd said.
"He didn't hurt me," he fired back untruthfully. "No one can hurt me. You can't hurt feelings if someone doesn't have any."
"I heard what you told Toby at the hospital. I-I was listening through the door. . .I heard all of it. . .So I know this all has to bother you no matter how much you're pretending it doesn't. I also know it must have taken a lot for you to admit something like that and Toby obviously doesn't appreciate that and that bothers me too because if. . .well, yeah."
"What the fuck were you doing listening in that night?" he said. The whole point of asking the others to leave was so that no one else would hear what he told Toby. He didn't want the others to know that he cared: he wasn't even sure he knew what he was feeling. "I was on drugs that night, so I said a lot of things I wouldn't normally say."
"I mean, Toby knew what you were like, if he didn't want to be in that type of relationship he should have said no! and he does owe you something; you gave him a place to stay when his parents kicked him out! And don't act like that's nothing because it is something! My moms told me about all these gay kids who wind up on the streets because their parents kicked them out! Because of you Toby had a place to live!
"So he owes me for room and board," he said swinging his arm carelessly. "As long as a little blond boy ass is keeping him happy who cares whether or not he's telling me. If Toby wants a boyfriend, then good for him. He found someone who can commit."
He knew this was the drinks talking now. He was revealing a bit too much, but wasn't completely aware of it with the 8 or Smirnoff's and 10 beers in him.

"What the fuck were you doing listening in that night?"
"Well, what the fuck else have you learned to expect from me, Kyan?" exclaimed Ravi, stopping and throwing his arms up in the air. He had a jog a bit to catch up with Kyan.
"I was on drugs that night, so I said a lot of things I wouldn't normally say."
"Pain killers don't put thoughts in your head like that that weren't already there!" said Ravi, "You can't blame having feelings on the drugs, Kyan! And how do you expect me to believe all those things you told Toby! Remember how pissed off you were at me when it was my fault he got kicked out? Would you have cared that much if Toby had just been another fuck? Would you have come to the hospital to visit Toby after Tate fucked him up?"
"As long as a little blond boy ass is keeping him happy who cares whether or not he's telling me. If Toby wants a boyfriend, then good for him. He found someone who can commit."
Ravi looked at Kyan critically; he really did care about Toby. He cared about him so much that he didn't care that he wasn't with him anymore as long as he was happy. "Look, I know I'm weird and awkward and annoying, but I also know I'm right! A-and I think you know it too!" said Ravi. "Why can't you just admit that it bothers you? Is it that hard? It's just me! Who the fuck am I gonna tell? And who would believe me if i did."

"Of course I fucking know it," Kyan snapped. "I haven't one to see one of my fucks at the hospital ever. . .and I haven't even fucked Toby!"
He ran a hand through his spiky blond hair exasperatedly before rubbing blearily at his eyes. The cold combined with his still drunken state was giving him a headache.
"I shouldn't . . .I shouldn't have to tell anyone," he said. "If he'd rather get his kicks from some other queer, than that's his fucking choice."

Ravi supposed that in some strange Kyan-like way, that was his openly admitting that he had feelings for Toby. It wasn't the exact words, but Ravi knew Kyan well enough by now to know that this was a lot coming from him. He could tell that the cold was starting to get to Kyan, Ravi himself had been numbed to it while 'scolding' Kyan. He was starting to feel it now, though.
"What's so bad about people knowing that you like someone?" he asked quietly. He didn't understand what was wrong with that, even for someone like Kyan.
"Look, it's too cold for either of us to be thinking straight." Ravi said with an awkward laugh after a short silence, "Let's just try to get to your house quickly so we don't freeze our asses off." and Maybe they could talk without ripping each others heads off.

"BECAUSE FEELINGS," Kyan began angrily, but then paused, his voice softening. "Feelings make you weak. Weak people get hurt."
He ran a hand through his hair in a manner that bordered on distraught. He never imagined he's find himself drunkenly pouring out his innermost feelings to Ravi Malone of all people. Wonders never cease, he guessed.
"I'll never get hurt," he said, his head jerking up and his voice returning to a more normal intonation.
"Look, it's too cold for either of us to be thinking straight. Let's just try to get to your house quickly so we don't freeze our asses off."
"I rarely think straight," Kyan said with a laugh, his emphasis on the last word. "That's the master plan then."

Ravi flinched a little when Kyan began to yell, but that God he had stopped himself. "Feelings are what make you human," Ravi said quietly with a frown. He didn't really understand Kyan's philosophy on life. There had to have been something that happened to him in his past to make him the way he is now. He refused to believe that Kyan was just like that. . . no one could be that cold, could they? Even Kyan had feelings, no matter how much he denied it or tired to hide it. Ravi had heard him admit things to Toby with his own ears so he refused to believe Kyan really felt the way he said he did.
"Everyone gets hurt," Ravi said quietly. He felt like it was a very selfish thing for Kyan to say considering all the things Kyan had done that hurt Ravi. Of course most of those things weren't intentional, but they still happened!
"How close are we to your house anyway?" Ravi asked, his voice much stronger as he wasn't making any personal comments.

"Everyone gets hurt."
"Not me," Kyan said quietly.
As Ravi asked how close they were to his home, he sighed and looked around somewhat blearily. He was still slightly intoxicated, after all.
"We're nearly there," he said simply.
