"Oh," Kyan said awkwardly. Ravi had managed to share an awful lot in the last few statements. "Well that's nice. You go ahead and keep an eye on that kid or my girlfriend'll freak out."
CHIC lyrics began playing in his head for a few seconds regardless of the currently playing song. He almost began to start dancing, but stopped himself short.

"Sorry... I'm really trying not to relate everything back to skating!"
"No that's alright," said Vinnie earnestly, "I think it's nice that you're passionate about something. A-and it is how we met." Vinnie blushed a little. That had been the first time Vinnie was actually glad that Audrey had drug him to a skating rink. Now that Vinnie thought of it, that pretty much was the only way they could have met; Zanna was either at school or work otherwise. Vinnie just hoped she'd have time for a boy friend.
"So, how about you? You said you were in band, right? How is that, since the season's almost over,"
"Oh yeah, band right," said Vinnie with a blink. The change of subject had been so sudden that it caught Vinnie by surprise. "Well, I played trumpet and I was the section leader. That was pretty cool except for having to deal with all the smart ass freshman who thought they knew it all. Yeah, it kinda sucks that this was my last year and it ended. It was a pretty big part of my life in high school and now it's just over." Vinnie generally didn't like thinking about it; he new he was going to miss marching band next year and he also know no matter where he decided to go to college, he wasn't going to have time for marching band there.
"Do you do an activities at school?" Vinnie asked. He honestly wondered if Zanna had time for clubs, or band, or other sports besides skating. Vinnie had a feel that she didn't, but he still wanted to ask.

Jack wanted to do the whole 'high school thing' right, so what better way than going to a good old fashion drinking party? He knew since it was Halloween that he was going to have to wear a costume so he picked something easy to pull off; Toki Wartooth. Toki Wartooth was his favorite character from his favorite TV show, Metalocolyps. The costume was easy enough; blue t-shirt, gray pants, boots, and a long brown wig. The only problem was the he left out the facial hair, but not many people would have known who he was anyway.
Since he'd never been to a party quite like this one before he was a little overwhelmed when he walked in. There were teenagers in costumes everywhere! He'd never seen so many people his age in his whole life! But he had to play it cool. . . He was on his way to the kitchen when he spotted Andy. He was about to say hi until he noticed who Andy was with; it had to be that Toby guy. Andy was right, he was hot! But no one was supposed to know about Andy's profession so Jack kept moving to the kitchen where he could only assume the drinks would be.
The kitchen was just as crowded as the rest of the house so Jack had to fight his way to the fridge. He opened the door and quickly grabbed whatever was closest to him before the door was suddenly shut by a drunk jock dressed in a toga crashing into it. He'd managed to grab a beer which was ok. He twisted off the cap and began to drink. Not knowing how he was going to manage getting out the kitchen without getting killed, he decided to just stay put and see what happened.

"I suppose so," said Paul thoughtfully in response to Faye's question. "Well, I've drank a whole bottle of Jack already and I'm not even that drunk yet. I mean, I'm drunk, but just barely. I have some Mt. Dew and rum now and it's pretty goood I guess, I just don't think it'll be enough to get the job done. When I go to a party I like to get pretty wasted, like so wasted that I'm that guy where everyone is like, 'oh dude, you should have seen what you did last night!' and I'm all like 'I don't remember a thing dude!'." Paul paused to take a nice sip of his drink.
"I'm gonna need more soon," he said, looking into his cup, "I might try something else then though. Defiantly with a higher alcohol to soda ratio though. I don't feel drunk enough to make out with a guy without thinking about it and that's usually a good point to be at for me; I'm not completely wasted, but I also have no sense of judgment and that' just where I like to be." Between his accent and his speech starting to become slurred it would be amazing it Faye and Garret could understand what he had just said.

"Ok!" said Ravi nodding his head so hard the his hat almost fell off. He turned back to Kyan just in time to see him look over at Toby and Andy. Obviously Audrey wasn't enough of a distraction as Ravi had hoped. Kyan looked like he was trying to keep it together, but his drunkenness was making him start to slip. Drinking Vodka straight probably wasn't going to help. . .
"H-hey Kyan?" he said cautiously, "M-maybe you should start cutting back on the alcohol. . . I don't want you getting sick. . ." Or raped, Ravi thought with a shiver. His dad always warned him that a trashed straight guy always has the potential to turn into a gay rapist and there was a lot of drunk straight guys around. . .

"I don't need a babysitter," Kyan said as Ravi tried to get him to cut back on the alcohol. "I'm fine. . .I can hold my alcohol just fine."
He came to parties like this specifically to get drunk. He'd managed before Ravi started coming to the same parties.
"It's hot in here," Kyna declared, grabbing a beer for the road and heading out into the adjoining dining room: away from the previous two girls and away from Toby and Andy. He debated taking off his shirt to cool himself off, but decided he'd wait until he was more shitfaced to do that.

"Kyan! Wait up!" Ravi called as he followed Kyan to the next room, leaving Audrey behind who had already occupied herself by talking to a drunk jock in a toga. Just before he left the kitchen, however, he too grabbed himself a beer for the road. Ravi was starting to become what he was trying so hard not to; drunk. He wasn't as drunk as last time, though.
"Did you say you were hot?" Ravi said with concern. "Are you sick?" He removed his glove and put the back of his hand against Kyan's forehead. "You're not hot. . . Are you sure you're ok?" Unlike last time, Ravi was not a rambling drunk; he was a concerned drunk.

"So you're not going to live with him anymore?" Andy clarified. "What exactly does moving back in with your parents mean? I mean. . .will they be cool with. . .me. . .us?"
He didn't want to get his hopes too high if Toby wanted to keep everything secret. Although the idea of sneaking around secretly from his parents was both intimidating and exhilarating.

Ravi felt his forehead after removing a glove and Kyan jerked his head away from him. Ravi was getting into that sticking around him, Kyan, clingy stage again.
"I said I was fine," he said. "I'm not sick. It's hot as balls in this place."
He sank back the rest of his vodka and screwed the beer cap off with the palm of his hand. He set his beer down on a side table, and watched it as he proceeded to remove his x-ray shirt. He wasn't stupid: he knew you had to keep an eye on your drinks at parties like these. He picked his beer back up and sighed contentedly.
"That's better," he said, starting to move to the music. ((God Kyan might as well be Greg half the time))

"You would know how hot balls were!" said Ravi with a laugh. He quickly stopped himself by slapping his hand over his mouth. FUCK! He was starting to get drunk! This was not good! He'd been trying to stay at least little sober so he could keep an eye on Kyan! At least he had enough sense in him to realize his fucking up, but that part of his brain was slowly starting to be taken over by his desire to get wasted and forget all his problems. Maybe he him and Kyan were drunk they would at least have a good time instead of Kyan just being annoyed with him.
Ravi took a long gulp of his beer and giggled when Kyan took of his shirt. Apparently Kyan thought it was time to dance. Ravi disagreed; he thought it was time to sit down so he did just that. Right there in the middle of the floor, Ravi sat down with his beer right in front of Kyan.
"Hey Kyan!" said Ravi in a loud whisper, "Come down here! It's much cooler! Cold air sinks and hot air rises!"

"So you're not going to live with him anymore?"
Tobias shook his head. "No," he said. He was sort of sad that he'd have to leave Kyan's house, but he knew that it was best for everybody. "My mother's been devastated since my dad kicked me out, so it's really because of her I'm moving back in with my parents," he explained.
"What exactly does moving back in with your parents mean? I mean. . .will they be cool with. . .me. . .us?"
"Honestly? Probably not. But I really don't know. I... I haven't spoken with them since I came out until two days ago, and they weren't about to bash me as I sat in the hospital," he added with a small smirk. "Who knows? Maybe a month was enough time for everything to sink in for them?" Toby knew this was wishful thinking, but he couldn't help but try and be as optimistic as possible.

"Yeah, maybe," Andy said, not really certain.
If it was making Toby happy to move back in with them, though, who was he to argue? It must be nice after having to live in someone else's house and debt to finally be back in his own home.
Well," he said raising his glass as if in toast. "Here's to moving back in with your parents."

Garrett blinked at the boy a few times: it had been a lot of information given rather quickly and with the heavy accent it had been nigh on impossible to understand. He nodded his head and quickly brought his drink to his mouth.
"Yeah. . .sounds good," he said with a semi-nod of his head.

Kyan glanced down at Ravi who had plopped himself down on the floor right in front of him. HE shook his head while dancing.
"Nope," he said. "I feel much cooler with my shirt off now. Besides, who wants to be cool when you can be hot."

Ravi fell backward and giggled at Kyan's words. "You're so funny!" he said, slapping Kyan's ankle because it was the only thing he could reach. He finished off his beer and threw the empty bottle aside. The floor was no longer amusing so it was time for Ravi to stand up. He used Kyan was almost a ladder to get himself back on his feet.
"You know what," said Ravi with a small hiccup, "if Toby doesn't appreciate how smart, funny, and hot you are then you don't need him anyway! Let him run of with Andy. Stupid Andy with his stupid blond hair and stupid needing-my-cousin-to-give-him-a-ride-homeness. You're better off. . . really. And besides. . . you'll always have meee!"

Toby never thought he'd be toasting beer to living at home with his parents, but here he was, clinking cups with Andy over that very subject. He spotted Kyan and Ravi out of the corner of his eye, and while the sight worried him he did his best to not pay it any attention. After all, he was here with Andy, and it wouldn't do their newly formed relationship any favors if he came across as fixated on another boy.
Taking a sip of his drink, Toby wondered if drinking more one day early would really make a difference. Not that he needed alcohol to have a good time, but it would certainly make the night a little better. He figured he'd just deal with the one for now and assess the situation later.
"So, I s'pose I have to make up breaking our first date, then," he pointed out, in lieu of anything better to say. He felt more confident in an actual date now that things were official. "Like, dinner and a movie? Is there anything playing you wanted to see?"
Toby wasn't really sure how to go about dating another guy, but he wanted to start things off right.

Andy could hardly believe how things had turned out. He had a boyfriend now. Sure he'd had a boyfriend before, but Steve hardly qualified as a decent boyfriend. And he'd hardly hoped that Toby would want to seriously date him. And now he wanted to plan a date.
"Oh, I don't know," he said, a small, half-grin tugging at his lips, as he realized he was a little out of the movie goer loop. He spent most of his nights working, and hadn't gone to the movies in ages. "I haven't been to the theater in a while. I'm not even really sure what's playing now. But dinner and a movie sounds good."

Kyan didn't really appreciate being used as a ladder. He was however quite intoxicated, and found that he wasn't in the telling of someone for invading his bubble kind of mood. Oh good, he could feel himself mentally rolling his eyes, Ravi wanted to bring up Andy.
"Toby can do whatever the fuck he wants with what's his face," Kyan said in a somewhat indifferent voice. "That's his business."

"I suppose." said Ravi slowly with another hiccup. Why was he such a light weight when it came to drinking? Only two and a half drinks and he was almost completely gone. At least Kyan wasn't exactly able to walk a straight line either, but he was still sober enough to act like Toby being with another guy didn't bother him.
"Hey, I know what'll m-make you feel better about all this." said Ravi with a big stupid grin, "Let's play hot or not! I'll sh-show you!" Ravi lazily looked around the room then pointed at a nerd, some what chubby boy on the other side of the room dressed like Goku from Dragon Ball Z. "NOT." said Ravi in an obnoxious tone. "Hahahahahaha, you're turn!"

"I haven't been to the theater in a while. I'm not even really sure what's playing now. But dinner and a movie sounds good."
"Oh," Toby said, a little taken aback. He figured that everyone watched movies, and it was the safest bet as to what to do on a date. But now he wasn't so sure. "Well, I mean, if you don't like movies we could always do something else," he added, wondering if maybe Andy would have a better idea for how they could spend their future date.

"No," Andy assured him quickly. "I like movies. I just haven't been to the theater in forever. I'm usually working, but getting out and seeing a movie could be fun."
He watched a fair share of movies at his home, but he usually waited until they came out on dvd and were on sale. If he was going to see a movie with Toby though, it'd be worth taking a night off and going out for fun.

Kyan really wasn't in the mood to play this game of Ravi's, but decided to humor him. He glanced around the room until he spotted the boy he'd seen at the diner who was dressed as a bro. =Shameless Tad is awesome plug= ((actually this is my way of letting you guys know I haven't let him die)) He tilted his head to the side, eying up the boy's ass through the khaki boy shorts. He was sort of squirrelly, but in an appealing way. Kyan wondered if he was at least bicurious.
He pointed the guy out to Ravi, drinking some more of his beer.
"Hot," he said, allowing his lips to linger on the bottle's neck suggestively.

"Oh Oh Oh! My turn!" said Ravi bouncing up and down with glee. He didn't know what made him happier; checking out hot guys or Kyan playing a game with him. For the first time he actually felt like him and Kyan were just hanging out. Since Ravi was drunk he over looked the fact that Kyan seemed to be annoyed by everything Ravi did. Right now Ravi was just enjoying Kyan's company.
Ravi carefully scanned the surrounded area for a hottie. He wanted a 'hot' this time seeing as he last one was a 'not'. He spotted a boy in the kitchen with a blue t-shirt, gray pants, and wig on ((Shameless plug for Jack cus I don't want him to die either, plus I just think he's adorable.)). "HOT!" exclaimed Ravi, pointing at the boy in the kitchen.

Cal bit back his initial response. that Desmond had no fucking idea what he was feeling. He had to remind himself that Desmond was only trying to help, and that they weren't on opposite ends of the popularity spectrum anymore.
"My friends weren't exactly very supportive of me," he said with a rueful smile. Blane had been the one who had driven Casey over the edge. At least his friend Van ( because I can't come up with a good alter name for him) had stuck by him: he didn't think he could handle his oldest friend leaving him too. His ex-girlfriend was still talking to him too, which he considered a good sign. "I mean I still have a few of my old friends, but one of them doesn't even go to school anymore, and the other. . .well he's stoned more often than not. I guess it's better than everyone just abandoning me."
Cal had never actually mentioned why everyone hated him. He figured rumors had spread about him after that party last year, about the kiss that rocked the popular kids' world. They didn't know the half of what he'd done that night though.

Blane was pretty wasted by this point. After he'd gotten his fill of tormenting Garrett he went right back to the heavy drinking. Football team tradition was to drink as much as you possibly could and still manage to walk yourself to the bathroom to throw up. Blane had achieve that after four shot guns, two beer bongs, and six shots of vodka. Physically he was still functioning, but mentally he was pretty much gone. He did manage to walk himself to the bathroom, but when he walked out quite a sight met his eyes.
Cal was there. Fucking Cal. Blane thought he'd driven Cal well into seclusion. Apparently he hadn't. Part of Blane missed having Cal as a friend; they'd had some pretty good times messing with all the fagots in school, but even since Blane saw Cal kiss that Casey kid things hadn't been the same. Blane didn't like the way the kiss made him feel, it was too much of an unfamiliar emotion to him so he didn't quite know what it was. He just knew he didn't like it ans Casey had been the on to cause it. Seeing Cal talking to Desmond made Blane start to feel the same way again. He had to do something about it.
Blane drunkenly stumbled over to the two, reeking like vomit. "Hey!" he said, drunkenly giving Cal a push, "Don't you- don't you have a-a-a bed at home to be crying inorsomething? You know. . cus your stupid fuckingboyfriend kill himself."
