The First Football Game!!!

[brooke]

Brooke looked over sharply at Lena, especially glad that her artificial blush was on to cover up her real pink cheeks. "Was not," she replied simply, before turning back to the game. There was a huge, self-satisfied smirk on her face, however, and it just wouldn't go away.

[Tadhg Kelly]

"Yeah well, seeing as how I don't have your number that's slightly difficult. There's also that little fact that you would have made a hundred awkward comments and complained that Brooke's whiney," Tad said with a smile to show he didn't really find that annoying.

[audrey]

Audrey lightly pounded her fist on her chest. "You know it's out of love, noob." said Audrey, "And my number is 678-3647, don't forget it. That's my cell by the way so you don't have to worry about talking to Rupert or Allan. Now you no longer have an excuse. Call me after your date or I'll rape you."

[Viola Hastings]

Viola had punched Tad in the arm again when he mentioned the girl.

"Oooooh, Tad's got a grilfriend," she teased. "Aww she's pretty, even if she is a cheerleader."

She recognised the pink-haired girl from Babylon the other night. She'd asked her to dance and expressed an interest in Kyan. Before anything else could be said, that gorgeous italian boy from before came up to her. She couldnt' stop the smile that spread across her face.

"Hey," she said brightly. "Yeah I just came buy with my friend here to visit our cousins. Mines the brown haired one and his is the emo one."

[nathan]

Nathan showed up at the american football game because he could't stand beign at home with his parents right now. He glanced around only to realize he really didn't know anyone there. Well done, he scoffed at his own stupidity. He went down to the consession stand to get himself some chips.

He beagn to eat them while walking around aimlessly on the track.

[vinnie]

"Oh, well you have a cousin here and I have a cousin at your school," said Vinnie, "Only the only time I'll be able to come to one of your games is when we play you seeing as I'm in the band." He looked at the scrawny squirrelly kid who Viola said was Desmond's cousin, "They don't look much a like do they?" he asked Vi, "Well, expect for the hair I guess."

Portia had been listening to the various conversation with interest; ever since Audrey had spoken to her, she found herself drawn into the antics of the crowd around her. However, it was only when Desmond addressed her that she actually felt part of the crowd. And, she really did like that feeling.

"Bored out my wahzoo, and yourself?" she replied, feeling loose enough to let go of any image she had. After a moment, she realized that she had never even met this guy before and she was talking to him like they'd been good friends. How strange. But cool. Very cool.

[Desmond Giuseppe]

"Not too bad." said Desmond straightening up. He had no problem talking to people he had never really met before and Portia seemed a bit lonely, "Audrey usually creates plenty entertainment for me." He notice Vinnie walk over and quickly leaned over and smacked him on the ass. "I love doing that." he said to Portia, "It's a crime against humanity that Vinnie isn't gay. I've cried to sleep many a night because of it, well not really, but you get what I'm trying to say."

[Viola Hastings]

"I saw you up there in the trumpet section" Viola commented. "Yeah you're right that's about all they seem to share."

[vinnie]

"YeAH!" Vinnie felt a hand make contact with his backside mid 'yeah'. It wasn't a hard smack, but Vinnie rubbed the contact point with his hand anyway. He knew Desmond was the culprit; he had a thing for Vinnie's ass. "Sorry about that, Desmond likes to smack my ass as a form of greeting."

[Viola Hastings]

"Aww I almost feel left out," Viola said with a laugh. "My friend Kyan likes to do that some times, I understand completetly. Desmond seems like a nice enough guy."

[vinnie]

"Yeah he is." said Vinnie with a quick glance at Desmond, "he's a little nutty at times though. He's president of GSA. Do you have that at your school?"

[Viola Hastings]

"Yeah we do," she said her eyes lighting up: she liked being in GSA. "I've been in it for two years now."

[Garrett Speelers]

Garrett grimaced at Desmond and Portia after Aubrey's spiel.

"Yikes," he said. "Try to be modest and you get your head chewed off."

[vinnie]

"Yeah, me too." said Vinnie, "We only just got it my Sophomore year. It's a lot of fun, you get to meet a lot of interesting people. It's how I met Desmond and Audrey, back when Audrey's hair was blond and Desmond wasn't good. Ah, those were the good days, not that I don't like the way Desmond and Audrey are now, but it was a simpler time then, I guess."

[Tadhg Kelly]

"You know, I really believe you might try," Tad said, his brows furrowed slightly.

He checked the score board subconsciously to see how much time was left until half time. He couldn't help that he was eager to spend time with Brooke.

[audrey]

"You know I would." Audrey said to Tad before turning to Garrett, "Well, don't be modest silly pants!"

[Viola Hastings]

"Yeah I remember when I first started GSA back when Kyan only had three tattoos. . ." she said with a sigh. "And I still thoguth Zeke might be straight. He's the president of our GSA this year."

[vinnie]

Vinnie laughed. "Yeah, I've had crushes on my fair share of lesbians." said Vinnie, "It's never a good feeling when you find out your crush is gay, but what are you gonna do? You can't change people so you just have to move on."

[Viola Hastings]

"Right, exactly. . .move on," Viola said in a lofty voice.

She never quite stopped liking any boy she'd ever had a crush on. In fact a part of still hoped that Zeke was stright even though she knew he wasn't just like a part of her still wished Tad's Dad hadn't come out of the closet.

[vinnie]

Vinnie sense that this was becoming a rather sensitive subject and quickly though of something else. "Um, hey, a bunch of us are going to the diner after the game, do you want to come with me?" Vinnie asked. "Your friend can come too, of course."

(For some reason this kinda reminds we of how Roger asked Mimi to diner after Maureen's show)

[Viola Hastings]

((only if they can burst out into song. . .))

"That sounds great. I'm game," Vi said. She gave Ravi a little nudge in the arm. "What d'you say, you want to to go?"

[Ravi Malone]

Ravi was busy thinking about how hot Kyan looked today when Viola nudged him. "Huh? What?" said Ravi distractedly, "Oh, the diner, sure, whatever."

[audrey]

"Oh, that's right!" exclaimed Vinnie as she heard Vinnie mention something about the diner after the game. "Diner?" said pointing at Garrett, "Diner?" she pointed at Portia, "Diner?" she pointed at Tad, "Brookeykins can come to, just no making out!"

[Viola Hastings]

"Don't sound so thrilled," Viola said shaking her head at Ravi, and grinning.
