Vinnie lead everyone to the kitchen and before pouring himself some beer he found a Mike's for Zanna. He hoped Lemonade was ok, he didn't really know if it came in other flavors not being a fan of the drink himself. He handed the drink to Zanna before getting himself some beer. It wasn't the best tasting beverage in the world, but Vinnie kinda liked it. He couldn't help but feel a bit manly while drinking it.
"Everyone's costumes are so great,"
"Yeah, I think it's weird that we all chose characters that we kinda already look like." said Vinnie as he looked around. Desmond, Paul, Zanna, Paul, Garrett, and himself, all hadn't done much other than slap on a school uniform and they looked almost exactly like what Vinnie pictured the characters to look like. "I also think it's cool that Faye actually dies her hair to play Tonks," fuck her brought up Faye. . ."and Audrey too, believe it or not, her hair is usually pink." Nice recovery.
He felt his checks turn a little red when Zanna told Paul Snape was one of her favorite characters, then he remembered that her favorite favorite was Sirius, just like his, and he felt much better. At least her and Paul were getting along to far, he'd hate for there to be some type of problem between the two.

"Yeah, well I'm half Irish," Paul began after Zanna explained her reasonings for not drinking, "and I go to Ireland every St. Patty's day to visit me family there. It's kind of a tradition to get completely shit faced and get into a fight. Of course me with my frail build and medical problems, my brother never allowed me to do much of the fightin', but the sure as hell let me do plenty of the drinkin'" Paul, unlike his best friend, had no problem using foul language in front of girls. It was just who he was, a foul-mouther boy from Liverpool.
I love your Snape costume. He was always one of my favorite characters.
"Why thank you, I rather like yours as well," said Paul, nodding his head in a bit of a bow, "unfortunately, he was my second choice, I wanted to be Ron, but I decided Snape would be easier to pull off with my hair." Paul lied. He wasn't dumb enough to tell Zanna the real reason for why he wasn't able to go as his favorite character, "This also fits in easily with the Marauders theme we have going on here. . " he cut of when he remembered that Zanna was Hermione.
"But your costume is just bloody fantastic!" he exclaimed, in a way of recovering from his blunder. "Where the fuck is the Jack!" he exclaimed before wander the kitchen and looking for his beloved Jack. He found it in a cabinet full of liquor the he suspected wasn't for the party, but it wasn't his house so he really didn't care. He took the whole bottle for himself and went back over to Zanna and Vinnie.

"I know! I love Faye's hair... I just took the easy way out and picked a brunette," she said, laughing. "And I can only imagine Audrey with pink hair... I'm sure it's very bold." She had only known the girl for a few minutes, but she seemed like a rather out there, confident type of girl. She seemed like she was all of the things that Zanna was not.
Zanna hoped that her complimenting Vinnie's friends wasn't making him feel awkward or anything. She was just trying to be polite and fit in with them, and since Paul had been the only one to address her thus far it only made sense for her to talk back to him first.
She laughed openly as Paul cut himself off, realizing that she wasn't one of the Marauders. "It's fine, Paul. I couldn't have thought of anyone else to be... I could always lie and say I'm a young Alice Longbottom," she added, with a slight smirk. "And Tonks wasn't a Marauder anyway, so it's all good. Just so long as I'm not forced to hang out with slutty Hermione, I'll be good," she added, laughing again. She didn't want anyone to feel like they had to go out of their way to make her feel welcome, but the fact that Paul was made her almost certain that she would get along well with Vinnie's friends.
"But thanks," she added, since he had complimented her costume. She turned to Vinnie with a smile.

Cynthia wasn't normally one for parties, but it was Halloween, and she figured that she didn't have to drink anything. Being the only sober one at a party was always more fun than being drunk, mainly because not only could you remember what you did that night, but you could also recall what everyone else had done in their inebriated state. It was hilarious.
She had dressed up as a peacock for Halloween. It was a nice idea, completely original, and something she had been wanting to do for years. Plus, the colors of the peacock feathers were her favorite colors in the world, so it was the perfect costume for her. Upon entering, she immediately spotted one of the only other people at the party who didn't seem to be surrounded by a large group of friends. It was a fellow senior at St. james, Dorian.
"Hey Dorian," Cynthia said with a smile. While the two of them weren't best friends or anything, they were at least familiar with each other to the point where she felt comfortable talking to her at a party.
((ooc- hope that's okay! I just wanted to get Cynthia involved. ^_^ ))

"That's what I'm here for," Garrett said to her thanks.
He grinned and leaned down slightly ((yeah I remember something about her being 5'10")) to kiss her, letting his lips press onto hers. He pulled away gently, and ran a hand through his messy hair.
"I just thought I should do that before I end up tasting like cheap beer," he said with a small chuckle.

Tad gave an upwards head jerk at Audrey as she came over to them. When she said that Brooke had come as Tonks, he fought the urge to defend her costume. Audrey was just being a bitch in that sense.
"She's just chillin'," he said to Audrey with a smile. "She's a rocker chick, dude."
Desmond mentioned him being a bro. . .and what's more Bro Rape.
"Dude bro. . .I'm Chad," he informed Desmond. "Bro rape man. . .people just don't realize. . .it's a serious. .. issue. . ." He gave a dramatic little pause to hang his head. "This is some depressing stuff . . . I need to like listen to some Dave Matthews. .. or watch Family Guy now. . ."

Blane was already at the party. Fuck, he was one of the first people to arrive! He was dressed as one of the Pittsburgh Steelers and he had his new girlfriend, Monica, with him as his own personal Cheerleader. He was in full gear and everything. Him and the rest of his buddies were all Pittsburgh Steelers. Apparently they weren't the only ones to have a group costume; Giuseppe and his faith band of fags came as Harry Potter characters. Christ, what was this? A fucking elementary school Halloween Party? Well, at least his cousin was with them, that would provide Blane with some entertainment.
Awww, it looked like the wittle fagot had a girlfriend! Blane decided that Faye Prewett was too hot for Garrett, something had to be done. He signaled for a few of his buddies to come with him before going over to his cousin.
"Hey, Gar." said Blane, "I'm just wondering; what do you think your father will do when I tell him you were hanging out with the fagots again? Maybe he'll give you a nice shiner like last time and maybe he'll even have one to give to your little girl friend." He turned to Faye with a serious look on his face, "Seriously Faye, I don't think you should be getting mixed up with Gar here, I mean, one of these days his father is going to bash in Gar's face so hard it will never look the same and, hell, who knows; he might even come after you. I wouldn't want that, Faye, you're far too pretty for that."

Viola spotted Vinnie and Zanna together and almost dragged JD over to meet them. The only thing that caused her to hesitate was the fact that she was wearing heels.
"Hey Vinnie. .. Hey Zanna," she said brightly. She paused as the reality of what she said sunk in. "I mean, uh, you must be Zanna. . .Vinnie's told me all about you. I like the costume by the way. . .Uh. .. this is JD, he's my uh," she hesitated. .. not entirely sure of just what they were yet. They'd gone on about two or three dates now and here he was at a party he didn't have to be at with her.
Boyfriend? he suggested.
"Boyfriend," she said flushing slightly under the pale makeup.

Andy walked in through the front door with or without Toby (are they meeting there?). He was wearing a brown long sleeved tunic with a built in hood to look like a cloak hood. He wore a twist of jade cloth round his neck and a pair of brown pants. He had a pair of dark leather boots, and a a crisscrossing leather belt which sported his false sword. He had a quiver on his back like a back pack, and a smaller bow. All in all he thought his costume was excellent. He'd swept his bangs off to the side and had decided to forgo any facial hair as a pale blond bear stubble looked ridiculous.
He was still getting used to the idea of being at the party with Toby. . .like they were a couple. It was an exhilarating idea.

Zanna didn't seem to take much notice of Vinnie's mentioning of Faye. Then again, since Zanna didn't go to Vinnie's school she wouldn't be able to get the vibe that Vinnie liked her. Not that Vinnie didn't like Zanna just as much if not more, it was just hard getting over someone he'd liked since the ninth grade. On a better note, Paul was behaving himself so far and that was a good think. The Englishman had even manage to lie about the reasoning for his costume switch without batting an eyelash. At least he was providing Zanna with a distraction while Vinnie couldn't help but get a quick glance at Faye. He felt like a complete jerk for doing so, but he figured looking wasn't the worst he could do.
Then Viola came over with a man who looked like a creepy old guy who came to high school parties. In fact, Vinnie recognized him from the hospital when he went to visit Desmond a few times. Vinnie was shocked to learn that this guy was Viola's boyfriend. It was strange because at one point Vinnie had had a crush on Viola, but unlike Faye, he'd gotten over her. Finding out that she was actually Sebastian helped.
"Oh, Hey Viola!" said Vinnie with a smile, "yeah this is Zanna, and um this is my friend Paul," He pointed to his tall friend who was standing on the other side of him, slowly making his way through the bottle of Jack, "you probably haven't seem him before because he just came back to America this week. He's, um, from England."
"Oh, um, it's very nice to meet you JD." he said, holding his hand out for JD to shake.

((JD is not a creepy old guy. . .he's 25. .. ::Sniffles:: he's 2 years younger than Josh))
JD shook Vinnie's hand and flashed a fanged smile at him.
"It's nice to meet you too," he said.
At the mentioning of England, the song Manchester England, England began playing through his head, at the same moment he found himself craving fish and chips. . .and pudding. He shook his head and returned to reality before he freaked out Viola's friends by letting one of his inner monologues run away with him.
"England. . .I once had a bite there," JD said with a goofy grin. ..emphasizing the bite, and throwing a faux Transylvanian accent on. "Bite. . .'cause I'm a vampire. . .I'm Dr. Acula. . ."
Viola rolled her eyes and gave a patronizing sigh, but leaned her head on his shoulder nonetheless.

Faye returned the kiss, and laughed at Garrett's comment about tasting like cheap beer. She opened her mouth to make some sort of witty reply when Blane approached them, and started to make trouble.
It took every ounce of self control that Faye had not to punch Blane in the face. She was sure that it wouldn't have done much, but she knew that it would have felt amazing. However, with all of the drinking going on already the last thing she wanted to do was start a fight at the party, something which would end in the cops coming or somebody needing an ambulance. She looked over at Garrett with a caring expression, placing a comforting hand on the crux of his elbow. She hoped that he wouldn't let Blane get to him.
"Thank you for the advice, Blane, but I'm a big girl now, and I'm pretty sure I can make my own decisions," she said evenly. She didn't want to deal with Blane for the whole night, and hoped that after this little encounter he'd be distracted by his team and personal whor... erm, cheerleader.
She knew that he was probably telling the truth, which was what bothered her the most. She really did like Garrett, though, and would stand by him no matter what his father did. If that put her into harm's way, however much neither of them wanted it to come to that, she wouldn't back down.

Tobias came in behind Andy. He had been feeling a lot better that day, and was glad that he had agreed to come to this party with him. The two had gone for a themed costume, Robin Hood and Will Scarlett. Toby loved the story of Robin Hood, it had always been one of his favorites, and while he expected many 'men in tights' jokes (despite the fact that neither of them was actually wearing tights) he liked the idea. His costume was similar to Andy's with the exception that his undershirt and pants were a lighter beige color, and slung over his shoulder was a fake weapon (a small axe? Whatever the hell that thing is.)
He didn't see Kyan, but did spot Ravi... unfortunately for everyone dressed as Ash from Pokemon. He hadn't spoken to Ravi since that night at the hospital, when he'd left after Kyan was done talking to him in the hall. Toby had a suspicion that Kyan made him cry.
"So, what first?" he asked Andy, looking around the room. It seemed like a decent party. He remembered what happened last time and debated not drinking, but knew that he was fooling himself if he thought he wouldn't have at least one drink, if not more. He wondered if Andy drank. "Do you drink?" he asked him, quirking an eyebrow, figuring it didn't make sense to step around the subject. He asked it in a clearly nonjudgmental way, though.
((ooc- feel free to correct me. I've never actually seen the show, and pretty much went off of the pictures you had in your sig. lol))

((yeah, but you've got to admit; Josh and Desmond provide everyone with Good drama))
Paul waved energetically to Vinnie's friend Viola. She sure was perdy, but unfortunately taken by a guy who appeared to be crazy. Being a little on the insane side himself, Paul knew crazy when he saw it. Crazy wasn't necessarily a bad thing unless he starting killing people. That was when Paul would consider someone's crazy to be inconvenient to everyone.
"Dr. Acula," Paul mumbled to himself thoughtfully, "Dr. Acula, Dr.Acula. . . OH! Dracula! Heh, I like him." he said pointing at JD. "He's crazy!" He turned his attention back to Viola, "You're dress is very nice, but I'm afraid to say I'm having some trouble figuring out who you're costume is of."

Audrey chose to ignore Tad's explanation of Brooke's costume; if it was the important Brooke would have told Audrey herself. She couldn't, however, tune out the verbal crap that Tad was spewing all over Desmond. As the boy spoke she could feel her very IQ dropping steadily. ((Raise your hand if you remember the Mr. Norris graph!))
"I hate you, Tad." she said flatly, standing with her arms cross and her weight shifted to one leg in typical Audrey fashion. ((BTW, when ever Audrey calls Tadhg 'Tad' she says it the way it's spelled, she doesn't say 'Tod'. I don't know if I ever mentioned this. . .)). Audrey wanted to walk away, but her legs didn't seem to want to move. It seemed that watching Tad was like watching a train wreck , she just couldn't look away.

Desmond laughed even harder at Tad. Somewhere along the lines, though, he'd managed to pick himself up off the ground so he was back to standing and back to sipping on his beer like a straight boy. "That is truly an awesome costume," he said, nodding in approval, "Yours is great too Brooke!" he added, "It's just that looking over and seeing Tad dressed as a 'bro' was very emotionally overwhelming. I think it stole a bit of the thunder from your costume. Sorry! None the less, you look very nice Brooke!"
Out of the corner of Desmond's eye he saw Blane causing trouble. Desmond thought to go over there, but decided not too; Garrett was going to have to learn to fend for himself against Blane. By the looks of it, Faye was already on the defensive. Good girl! Hopefully Garrett would pussy out, not that Desmond expected it too. He realized it must have been hard for Garrett with the threat of his father knowing the type of people he hung out with being dangled over his head. Maybe to be on the safe side Desmond would offer Garrett a place to stay tonight. . .
"Did you guys get drinks yet?" he said, turning back to Brooke and Tad with a pleasant air, despite what he'd just seen. Although he was acting like everything was alright he kept his eye on Blane just to make sure Garrett and Faye were keeping the situation under control.
Then Desmond spotted Andy, the boy he'd met at his cousin's school a few days before, walk in with that gay wrestler kid who his cousin was friends with. Toby, his name was. Desmond had heard through the grape vine that Toby was with that man slut Kyan. It seemed like perhaps Toby had gotten a little sick of having a whore for a boyfriend and move on to better things. Just spending a few minutes with Andy, Desmond could tell he was a much better person that Kyan. Good for Toby for finding someone more worth while!

Ravi had only gotten through his first drink when he saw Toby enter with a boy who was most certainly NOT Kyan. Ravi almost did a double take in shock at the two. They had similar costumes, so they had to be together. That and they were acting like they were together so that could only mean that they had come to the party together! Toby hadn't come with Kyan? Why?! Weren't they an official couple now?! Ravi just didn't understand! His lack of comprehension couldn't be because of his one half empty cup of beer that he'd drank, it was just because none of this made any type of sense at all. Ravi began looking around frantically for Kyan to see if he was there and if so, to see his reaction. Ravi actually got up and walked around the party looking for Kyan but he was no where to be found. He wanted to go over and ask Toby what was going on but then he remembered that Toby hated him. But. . maybe he could earn back some friendship points if he was there to comfort Kyan when he saw his boyfriend cheating on him! Ravi took a seat near the door so he would be in plain view of Kyan when he came, well, if he came.

Toby spotted Ravi, and saw the reaction that his younger friend had to the fact that he was here with Andy. This brought no less than a small smirk to his face. He hadn't really thought about what people who thought he was with Kyan would say. Come to think of it, he hadn't even thought about what Kyan was going to say about the situation. He'd spent most of his past day back at Kyan's place sleeping, so he hadn't really spoken to him about anything. He hadn't even asked if Kyan was coming to this party, though he was pretty sure he was.
Of course, it shouldn't matter, Toby reminded himself. After all, Kyan had been the one to ask him for an open relationship. That meant that if Toby wanted to come to the party with Andy he could. End of story.

Zanna rose an eyebrow as Viola stated that Vinnie had been talking about her. He'd been telling people all about her? She wondered what he'd been saying. Did everybody hear about their disastrous second encounter in Vinnie's basement? Had he been saying positive things? Or had he been telling people she overworked herself, that she was a perfectionist, that she didn't eat enough?
Zanna had never really been confident in herself, but she felt an odd sense of trust in Vinnie that told her he wouldn't have told people bad things about her.
"Nice to meet you, Viola. And J. D--- I mean, Dr. Acula," she added, with a quiet giggle.

Brooke just ignored Audrey's comment. She got the feeling that Audrey hadn't liked her from the first time they'd met, but didn't dwell on it. She was a cheerleader, after all, and 'her type' were often hated without people bothering to try and get to know her. Plus, only the tips of her hair were dyed pink, and she had nothing HP related on her. Duh.
Brooke could barely contain her fit of giggles as Tadhg went into his 'bro rape' speech. The two of them had watched the video on YouTube together, and it had been quite hilarious. Just thinking about it and watching her boyfriend made her want to laugh again, but she struggled to keep a straight face.
"Thanks, Desmond! It's okay, I don't mind Tadhg getting the limelight. More entertainment for me," she explained with a smile. When asked if she had gotten a drink yet, Brooke simply shook her head. "Not yet."
Brooke didn't drink, but nobody else knew that. She usually got a drink at the beginning of the night and kept the same one for the rest of the party. Sometimes she'd dump some into a plant, or someone else's cup, or just leave it lying somewhere to get something different. Having been to all of the cheerleader/football parties for the past four years she had been expected to drink, but never really found it her scene. Instead, she'd just gotten very, very good at pretending to drink until everyone around her was too wasted to notice that she was sober. It was a skill. No, an art.
She wondered if Tadhg drank... the two of them had never really been in a situation where the opportunity had presented itself, and she had never thought to ask.

"Well, when ever you guys are ready there are plenty of drinks in the kitchen." he said, in his straight guy voice, "no pressure or anything. As long as you guys have a good time I'll be happy!"
Desmond smiled at Tad and Brooke. Those two were just so cute together! Desmond would have told them so if he wasn't trying his best to be a bit in character. Thank God he didn't have to act like a straight boy all the time because it was not only boring as hell, it was also pretty annoying too. He was almost glad Josh wasn't there to see him; the sight of Desmond acting like he was straight might just kill the poor man! Aww, he loved his Joshy-poo!
"I have to ask you guys." said Desmond in an uncharacteristically flat voice, "I'm trying to act straight, how am I doing so far." He took a very manly gulp of beer to further prove his point.

Garrett felt his whole body tense up as he fought the urge to tackle Blane to the ground and beat him until he cried in front of the whole team. It wasn't helping matters, that Blane looked quite top heavy in his costume and that Garrett had the height advantage.
"Blane," he all but snarled. "Don't you have some freshman you could be giving swirlies to, or beer bongs to chug? Or has the night sunk so low you've resorted to irritating us?"
He looked at Faye seriously before speaking in an undertone.
"I wouldn't let him come after you," he assured her. He'd call the cops or hit him with a fryign pan or something, anything before he let it come to that. "Trust me."

((It's a battle axe, but for an englishman, it's got a three foot handle on it. Also that's a fairly accurate description. . .will has a leather vest and an off white tunic underneath that's one of the only differences besides colour.))
Andy turned to Toby as he asked about drinking. He smirked slightly before answering.
"Like a fish. . . when it's free," he replied, figuring he might as well be honest. "Do you?"
Andy glanced around and spotted a few people he recognized in the house. The emo boy from St. James. . .and possibly the kid, his cousin, forced to sit in the back seat dressed as that kid from Pokemon. Toby seemed to have spotted him to, and smirked. He didn't pay it much mind just now, though.

Tadhg shrugged when asked about the drinks. He'd actually never drank before, which considering his reputations at his other schools was a shocker he knew. He was something of a rebel, a rocker as Brooke was displaying, almost a badass. . .which hadn't managed to transfer over to St. James as well s the other schools, but c'est la vie. The only time he'd had anything alcoholic was when he'd accidentally taken a sip of his father's martini at a formal dinner.
Of course, he wasn't against the idea. In fact he wasn't sure his dad would be entirely upset with him either. After all Jon had been drinking since he was 18. . . legally anyway.
"No, we just got here," he told Desmond, dropping the charade for a bit. Acting that stupid got sort of tiring after a while. Desmond mentioned his straight act. "Not bad, not bad. It almost seems natural. . .y'know if I didn't know you like boys and fashion."
