((OHMYGOSH I miss music. Talking about it, that is. Friggin Hogwarts and its friggin rules))
Iona stood behind the counter in the front of the store, cracking her bubblegum loudly as she sorted through a crate of used records pricing them. A look of happiness crossed her face as she came across one. She took it out of its sleeve and put it in the record player, moving the needle atop the second groove in.
Try a Little Tenderness by Otis Redding began to play, and the neighbor banged on the wall as he always did. God help her, she loved this song.

Elliott poked his head out of the backroom and looked at Iona as the music began playing - she was swaying in place, her eyes closed. He laughed to himself and shook his head before grabbing a couple of flyers for a local concert to set out at the register.
He looked over the records on the shelf with knowing eyes, making sure no haphazard customers had mashed up the order he worked so hard to maintain. Satisfied, he arrived at the front desk and set the flyers down in front of Iona, which snapped her back to reality. She was startled for a second, but then stuck her tongue out at him and continued pricing the records.
He loved it here.

Viloa walked into the record shope and looked around curiously, the music palying was cool she was relieved to note. She was set on getting herself a Queen album preferably one with Lover Boy on it. She began to rifle through the nicely arranged records.
"Nice music," she said to the girl behind the counter with almost firghtening hair.

"Thanks. I just love Otis..." she said with a wave of her arm, as though the girl was complimenting her personally. Too soon, the tune ended, and Iona restored the music that normally played over the overhead speakers. It was Elliott's day to pick the music... and, predictably, Led Zeppelin washed over the room. Elliott was a music freak, which was why Iona hired him.

Viola was just as happy that Zeplin began to play over the speakers. She was going to dub this her new favorite store. She couldn't believe it had taken her this long to find this place. She had just never gotten around to coming to this part of the city before.

Elliott smiled at Iona and glanced over at the girl who was browsing through the records. She was very cute... at the thought, Elliott blushed a little and bit his lip, forcing himself not to look at her as he crossed the store and began to organize the CD racks. They were always a mess this time of day.

Viola saw a boy walk by who was incredibly cute. He looked about her age and yet, she'd never seen him before. He must go to St. James. Oh yeah. . .this was deffinitely her favorite store. She wasn't usually so nervy when it came to guys, but she walked over to him and asked politely,
"Where would you guys keep your Queen?"

"Vinyl, tape, or CD?" he responded automatically. He had actually gotten involved in his organization and sort of forgot about the girl... that is, until he turned to wait for a response.
...right.

"Vinyl if you have it," she said. She like collecting older things. "CD if you don't. I'm looking for the album with Lover Boy on it. . .their greates hits I think."

"Right. It was originally on A Day at the Races, their first self-produced record, but it's also on a couple of their greatest hits albums..." he trailed off, realising he was rambling. "Uhm, over here," he pointed, and then scratched the back of his head as he led the way over to the classic rock record section. Thumbing through the crate, he pulled out a couple of albums, including the original and two greatest hits ones. "We've got these..."

Viola looked at the different volumes they had. At length she made her decision.
"I'll take A Day at the Races, I guess," she said finally. She noticed some of the other records as she looke dnear this section. "Wow you guys have a nice selection. I feel so bad that I'vev missed out on this place now."

Jude was looking to buy himself a Decemberist CD, he had a few of their songs down loaded from the Internet and he was liking what he heard. He entered the shop with his hood up; he still had some bruises on his face from the other day and didn't feel like explaining to people where they had come from. It was then that he noticed the girl that had helped him the other day. Why didn't people feel the need to butt into other peoples business? There was also a pretty cute boy there. He ignored the girl and tried not to look at the cute boy so much; he was glad his hood was up because he could feel himself blushing slightly. Being the type of person who likes to do things for himself, he looked around on his own and tried to find the CD.

"Good choice," he said, grinning. He happened to like that album a lot - listening to the greatest hits albums was fun and all, but then you didn't get to hear b-sides. B-sides were probably Elliott's favorite thing about music - they were like little treasures.
"Yeah, we've got a lot. It's pretty nice," he said. He was pretty much in love with this store, and was ecstatic when he got the job here at the ripe age of fifteen. The only reason it had taken that long was because Iona insisted on following the law. Speaking of Iona... he shifted his gaze for a sec to see whether she was still at the register or not - otherwise he'd have to ring her up. Not that he would mind terribly... his thoughts stopped as he noticed a hooded guy browsing through the CDs. He tensed up a little - it was two weeks ago that he'd been robbed at gunpoint by a guy in a hooded sweatshirt. Forcing himself to be positive - not ALL guys in sweatshirts were thieves - he noticed that Iona was still at the desk. Well, at least he wasn't alone this time.
"Is there anything else I can help you find?" he asked.

"You're welcome," he replied, a little disappointed he couldn't talk with her more. "You can check out with Iona up there when you're ready." With a smile and a nod, he made his way back to where he'd been organizing CDs.

Viola wanted to stay and talk more with the boy. . .he was so cute, but what could she say? She turned to walk to the front, but then turned back around slowly.
"Oh, I'm Viola by the way," she said flushing slightly.

Elliott stopped in his tracks as she introduced herself.
"Oh. I'm Elliott," he replied, holding up his ID stupidly. Shaking his head at himself, he let go of it. "S'nice to meet you, Viola."

Thomas pulled up outside of Trex and parked, shutting off the car but not getting out. This was pathetic. He couldn't go a day without seeing Elliott...
He squinted through the windshield and spotted his friend chatting with a girl... and a guy in a hooded sweatshirt. Just seeing that guy, Thomas couldn't help beating himself up about the incident a couple of weeks ago. He'd left only fifteen minutes earlier... anything could have happened. He didn't know what he would do if something had happened to Elliott. Just the thought left him shaking.
Taking a few calming breaths, he pulled a jacket on and got out of his car, entering the shop. He didn't want to bother Elliott, who appeared to be busy, so he walked over to Iona and began to chat with her, keeping an eye on both his friend and sweatshirt guy.

Jude couldn't help but notice he was getting funny looks for wearing his hood up so he pulled it down and instead pulled his hair in his face to try and cover his bruises. Now there was another very cute boy in the shop. Jude could feel his face turning red.
Damnit, he though, cut it out! He continued searching for a CD, occasionally pulling his hair in his face and glancing at the new cute boy.

He nodded. "Vi. It's a pretty name," he said. Over her shoulder, he noticed that sweatshirt kid had put his hood down, and he felt himself relax. Realizing he was still at work, he figured he should probably go see if he needed help. "Ah... I'm sorry, I've got to go..." he began, pointing vaguely in the boy's direction. "Maybe I'll see you around?" he asked hopefully. She was very nice... and beautiful...

"Thanks," she said. He had to leave though. . . "Oh yeah, sure. I like it here. . . you're--- I mean it's great."
She slapped herself in the face and grinned embarrassedly.
"Well, I've gotta go pay for this now. . ." she said quickly. Turning towards the front desk. "See you around."

Elliott smiled and laughed a little bit - she was very cute, definitely. "I hope so," he replied, waving slightly. As he followed her to the front desk, he noticed Thomas standing there, talking with Iona. For some reason, he couldn't help himself from smiling widely and waving. It was so nice seeing Thomas. He couldn't get used to not being with him constantly. He gestured over at the other customer, and held his finger up, indicating he'd talk to him in a minute.
Feeling much better than he had mere minutes before, he walked over to the other customer.
"Did you need any help finding anything?" he asked politely.

Thomas felt his stomach go up in butterflies as Elliott waved to him. He was so fucking innocent... so beautiful... he nodded back at him with a smile as wide as a wide thing. It was then that he noticed the girl he had been speaking to was Vi, the girl he'd met in the library.
"Hey there," he said to her as he walked to the register.

Viola went to the front counter to pay and saw Thomas from the libray before. She smiled at him as she put her record down on the counter.
"Oh hey," she said smiply. She didn't know what else to say. She was surrounded by cute boys. . .who weren't assholes. This was new for her.
"What are you up to?"
